I agree, doing this on a sedan looks silly. I'm not a fan of it in general but this would be much more at home on a 7th Gen Accord Coupe or something.

I don't think that modification is defined crash safe by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

If the hinges fall off during a crash, the passengers are exposed.

I was more appalled by the wheels

not the best......the wheels are not my taste and the lambo doors are better left off for lambos only. having those doors on a short sedan door just looks silly.

ya, I want sliding doors. I like the gull wing idea, but to go even further, how about roll-up side doors?

I'm not sure what is worst a ghetto fabulous or Riced out TSX?

Maybe suicide doors will be the next mod for the TSX?

I read in the threads about this car being ricey and another being ghetto. My question is, if it's not one of those, what's it called?

Sad thing is, in five years time, I think our cars are going to be the next craze in ricer-ism. By that time our cars will have depreciated enough so that it will become an easily acquired car for high-schoolers who will proceed to rice it out with bling, suicide doors, fart cans, etc. Kind of like how the Integra is right now.

If the rear door handles could be moved closer to the center piller, and the oem location filled in, suicide doors would look good. Lambo? No, no sir, I dont like it. But at least its unique in its own way.

If you're going to even attempt to pull of lambo doors, you should at least finish up the rest of the car first, like a drop, kit, etc.
