Cool Wifey's TSX and my Bimmer

It's been a long while since I've posted around here so I figured I'd post up a few recent pics of our rides

I've seen that TSX before (recognized the red calipers). Is your wife on this board?

Ya, this account (TSXY) is pretty much hers but she never gets on here so I usually do all the posting since I'm a car freak

If the TSX was mine it would already have a ton of mods, oh and of course it would be a manual also

Thanks
The Bimmer has a CAI and a cat-back exhaust, it dynoed at 220 hp and 235 torque at the crank, stock was 190 hp and 210 torque
It should hit 14.5-6 1/4 miles once I get some smaller wheels for the track, I ran a 15.3 w/ a CRAPPY 2.4 60 foot but it was at 93 mph

wow, a CAI and exhaust helped that much? that's pretty impressive. if it does end up hitting that 14.5 range, i'd be even more impressed. anyway, nice cars.

I'm not 100% onboard with the chin spoiler stuff on the Bimmer (I don't like things hanging off the front of a car that scoop forwards the closer to the ground they go). But, that's just me...to each his own. I really like those wheels, though. They're just the right darkness for non-silver wheels. I think the dark wheels for the TSX/RSXS look kinda dull.

TSX still looks good, though (yes, I know those pictures were taken a while ago)! I did notice something: is your wife missing the locking wheel bolts?

I couldn't believe my #'s were that high either, more than likely the stock #'s were underrated on my car, either way it was 183 rear wheel hp and 195 rear wheel torque, which w/ the driveline loss on my car comes out to about 220 and 235

Ya there aren't any locking bolts on her TSX, are there suppose to be? It came that way from the dealer

Ya, to each their own. I didn't want to get a whole new bumper and all of that so this was a good way to go for what I wanted

TSX doesn't implicitly come with the locking bolts, but they probably should have brought that up when you were buying. If you're worried about wifey's rims being stolen (and tires too!), then probably getting a set of bolts would be a good idea....I mean, you probably have them on your Bimmer; why not have them on the TSX (yes, your wheels probably cost a lot more, but still--rims are rims--you don't *really* want them stolen)

wow, I didn't know we had two cool BMW owners (TSXY and ilitig8). I guess they almost offset B-D and Gilbo.
