well... i was gonna keep this a lil secret but......

that wouldn't be very nice of me now would it?! well anyways this is manly for the 06+ owners. after some searching around and some emails it was confirmed to me that Spoon makes an 06+ c/f hood. only thing is that it's made out of dry carbon so it cost quite a bit. a quick email to Ben over at AJ Racing confirmed this and the price he quoted me was $2,500 USD well if things go smoothly i may or may not pick up this hood depending on a few things. anyway on to the picture that confirmed this:

WOW.
But when $$$ is not a matter, go for it. That will match up ya Phase bumper exactly like the Euro-R in the pix.

sweet. however I am not sure why it is only for 06 owners as phase used to make a hood with no hood trim for the 04-05 tsx. also I would rather have no hood trim at all and especially if I switched to the phase bumper. I am sure they didnt make the special for the 06 since they have had a dry carbon hood out for sometime now, probably around 2 years. good working getting a price for it though. definitely something I might consider if I get the spoon bumper. although j's racing makes a hood too with no trim for it but it has the racing vents.

Isn't the hood the same for all years?

Fitment looks excellent.

^ What COlt said. But it sucks tho, I think Spoon should've never took over Phase design and just leave Phase a timeless and rare design. Why spoil the fun for those who want rare kits?

benz spoon isnt building phases hood man. this is a completely different hood. phases hood was still a wet design. spoons dry carbon hood cost so much more and is so much better. it is carbon the entire way through. there is no fiberglass side to that hood.

WOW!! I'd love a CF hood for my PWP, but $2500 is a bit pricey right now.

looks very clean, but wouldn't a hood like that require pins?

No pins needed as inside has the frame skelton and normal metal ring for holding down the catch.

Anyway, there is a FL or 06 similar CF bonnet being done now and project will be completed soon....but prices, definitely not as expensive as Spoon.... but CF anyway, dry or wet, seriously small issue...
