I got it yesterday Comptech header. Can wait to get it on and see what the car can do now. I have Injen CAI & Tanabe SHM exhaust on now.

don't forget to clean the header with some denatured alcohol before you start it up for the first time to make sure you get all finger prints off. It will insure a consistent color across the header.

That vibration is one of the reasons i have thought about not getting it (mostly cause i just bought wheels an still need tires those!) but shouldn't in theory, there be no vibration assuming that you tighten everything down good enough? And don't you need to double up your gaskets somewhere? I thought i remembered reading that on maybe your install guide Ryan??

You only needed to double up the gaskets between the RT Cat and Cat-back exhaust. The CT header has the ring gasket included, which mates up to either the OEM or RT cat (DC header requires reuse and I don't know about the others out there).

I mean the other side though, gasket from the engine to the exhaust manifold. There is a gasket there on the stock header, did you re-use that one? A service tech advised me not to when I got my header, but mine came with 3 gaskets, exhaust manifold, a-pipe, and a cat gasket. (2 piece header, so 3 necessary) But they were all paper gaskets, a kind of a metallic cardboard. Extreme low quality.

Sorry Noob question.
Does the Header gasket = to Head gasket? From what I read, the gasket will increase the compression ratio and increase performance??? Not sure if it's true but I wish someone can confirm this.
BTW: If I bring my header gasket to a shop for install, they will generally charged a "Header Install" price since the header required to take off to put the gasket on?
