Tsx536's Ride: JDM Headlights and 06 Steering Wheel
Memorial weekend was a great install weekend. I installed 04/05 JDM headlights, 06 steering wheel, and re-installed my Pioneer Navi system. (My Pioneer Navi was in for a flex ribbon recall.)
The JDM headlight install wasn't too bad. I swapped projectors with my US OEM headlights, to make the lights LHD. I followed some intructions from a great post by Reach. Bumper removal was pretty easy, and I was able to get it all done in a couple of hours. I put painters tape on my garage door to help me aim the headlights after the swap. I have the height exactly the same as with the OEM US headlights.
The 06 Steering wheel install also wasn't too bad. Took me about 1 1/2 hours but I could probably do it in 45 minutes if I had to do it again. I ended up not needed a steering wheel puller. I was able to get the wheel off, just by wiggling it. It doesn't seem like it will come off at first, but it just pops right off. I'd consider this install a 2 out 5 in terms of diffculty. I think the hardest parts were aligning the new steering wheel to be perfectly straight when the car is going straight. Also getting the bolt of the steering wheel the first time can be tough, and it would help if you can have some else hold the steering wheel to prevent it from locking.
Overall, I like this mod a lot. Since my hands are always on the wheel, this mod makes a nice difference. It's not a lot thicker than the 04 wheel, but it 's enough to a noticeable difference. If I had the choice to do the swap again. I definitely would. The extra grips at 10 and 2 are very nice. The wheel just feels more beefy and helps give you a little different feeling of control. Special thanks to Xenonhid for helping with the process and given me a lot of info to help determine if I should do the sway.
Anyway, here are the pics:

You're ride must look pretty clean man. If I remember right, you got JDM headlights, Mugen Grill, and also those powder coated rims

I say, no. Then again, I'm not into the whole JDM thing -- but your lights do look good tho.

No, I actually just left my 04 silver buttons on there. I didn't feel like messing with it since I wanted to finish the other mods too. The illuminated buttons are very tempting though.
They happen to be on sale in the black market if any 04 guys are interested in the swap:

Thanks for the compliments guys, I really like the clean look of the front end with the new lights. I'm still debating on the Mugen grill. Part of me likes how the look is now, and part of me still wants the grill.
Can a mod, please get that Mugen Grill Poll up for me? If not, I'm making a new thread
I've even throw in a free roll of electrical tape so the new owner can do DIY grips at 10 and 2

^^ No real future plans actually. I'm debating on Mugen Grill, and also some lightweight stock diameter pulleys. I'd also consider getting the Mugen front bumper if I can get a decent deal on one.
I'm actually really happy with my car as of right now. Just re-installed my RT cat this weekend and the car is running just great! The only mod I really want is engine management. If I could run like 7-8 psi, I would be more than happy! I'm not sure if that's going to come though.
