Question TSX + TL-S Quads = ?

So I had this idea in the back of my mind about how the TL-S Quads would look on the TSX, So I decided to pursue it...

Still gotta work out the Fitment issues thou...

But I just couldn't wait to post this up.

What ya Think?...

I'm ready for the critics

It was getting dark so these are the only crappy PICs worth posting up for now.

I still like our dual pipe set up. Now if your ride is pushing 300+ whp, then quads would be worth it.

TL-S Axel-Back & Mufflers welded to the rest of the TSX exhaust.

Its okay to me. I don't hate or love it, but I think it might be perfect on your car if you can make it fit better. After it fits better, I believe it would look pretty good.

You totally need to post a sound clip.

My take is that I actually thought it would look better than it does but maybe with some creative custom work on the rear bumper it would look better. The tips are a bit staggered and they don't seem to fit the TSX bumper quite as nicely as they do on the TL.

Agreed...

as for the sound clip...It sounds pretty much like a stock TSX....

I plan to add a TEST PIPE & MID PIPE to beef up the sound a little....but not too much.

As usual good work man! This set-up deffinately has to be seen in person to really understand how good it looks. You need your own custom garage or something, u have a good eye for detail and uniquness that few can top.

You'll see it at the Charlotte meet. Maybe we'll convoy to the meet with the same group from the Raleigh meet.

I had the Mid muffler & resonator removed, so it has a nice sporty sound to it.

Props on the innovation.

A few things that I think would help:
- get about 1/2" of pipe welded in to the exhaust system to push the tips back a bit. They are tucked in under the lip right now, they'd look much nicer either flush or sticking out ever so slightly.
- More of a curveature to the bumper cut-out. See how the outer part of the OEM exhaust cut-out looks? I would have shot for that all the way around, rather than the sort of flat-cuts you've done.
- As I'm sure you know, the passenger side exhaust is hanging kinda crooked! That can probably be worked out by using a torch to heat up the hangers, and bending them appropriately to level things off. Trial and error.

Keep posting updates, this is a cool mod!
