I just traded in my passat for a 2005 Carbon TSX (no nav) and am loving it.

Congrats and welcome!! A few years back I ran a '00 GLX Passat, manual, lowered on H&R sports, Bilsteins, UUC shortshift....

Probably reliability issues. Once VW/Audi products get up in age/mileage maintainence gets expensive. I had to change out the entire front control arms (upper and lower) on both sides. The car creaked like an old broken down mattress.

i had 2 choices.... grey or blue, which was tough because those were the two colors i wad debating between.

i really liked my passat, but after spending more than i should have to fix a water leak and the shop saying i should trade it in i started shopping around, the tsx was comparable in size and performance and superior in quality. oh yeah, and resale value was just about nothing.
