Suspension Installed..Woot!

Neuspeed Koni Yellows - Front - middle perch, Rear-One perch below middle.

Eibach Pro Kits
Ingalls camber kit
Comptech Rear Sway Bar

My initial impression - I love the way the car handles. It feels like it's on rails compared to stock suspension. It's not that harsh. IMO it almost feels stock.

Thanks for hooking me up CL Platano. Jae knows his shit.

congrats =) looks nice, time for some new wheels soon
I know the Koni yellow shocks and the Eibach prokit combo is tested and approved by many members on here, but just fyi I found these yesterday (they might had been out for a while)
Eibach Pro Dampers http://www.autocarparts.com/part/list/279/
Somehow I feel more confident if the shocks and springs are made by the same company

I am getting my tiens/ingalls/rsb installed tomorrow by the way.. cant wait!

Sweet set up man, i'm on the verge of having the exact same setup. I didn't have all the money now so i just got the Eibach's and the Ingalls kit. I will get the koni yellows and rear sway bar in a few months. Congrats, on it and i'm glad you like that way it handles, i can't wait to get the koni's cause the ride is a little bouncy without them :/ Mind if i ask how much you got the koni's for and any idea on installation? I'm just trying to get a feel for money on those.

Thanks fellas,

Evo, damn-Oh well. I'm hoping this setup will last me for long time. Wheels are my next mod. Hopefully "Sidewinders or Weds". I also ordered UR pulleys so I'm pretty excited.

jwood- I wanted to do everything right the first time. Definetly get the koni's. I'm glad I'm addicted to this damn forum. I researched and listened to people's comments. I got the Koni's for $500.00.

I was reading about those too and i usually like to stick to the same name on things like that as well but there isn't much info about them on this forum or any other websites that i can find. You know of any information on their performance level or anyone else on this forum have them?

jwood: sorry, i really dont have much info on the eibach pro dampers =( I personally opted for the Tein Basics because 1.) they are cheaper than yellow koni's + eibach springs and 2.) I want to dial in the perfect drop and I dont plan on autocrossing, and therefore being height adjustable is more important than being dampening adjustable to me... have you considered a set of coilovers instead of the shock/spring setup?

I like it! Looks exactly like mine did pre-body kit. I went with the same settings height settings. What do you have the damper adjustment set to?

i did consider that however, i already installed the springs and the camber kit, so i think i'm going to just stick with looking at a dampening set of the koni's or the eibach pro system. I just posted a thread in the suspension section to see if anyone knows anything about the eibach system. I'm not looking to make the height really all that adjustable just lower like it is now with just the eibach springs and keep it like that. Which do you think would ultimately be better for that?

yea, I just read your other posts and noticed that you already have the eibach springs and camber kit installed... in that case, since you dont need much height or damper adjustment, the eibach pro damper shocks are definitely less expensive than the koni shocks, and they should mate very nicely to your existing pro kit, both in terms of spring/dampening rate and the fit and finish itself

Nice Drop. Koni Yellows is the way to go. I have Neuspeed Sport Springs as I got a great deal from Neuspeed but I also considered Eibach. I have mine 1 perch lower in the back and I love it...Go Lower! LOL

Yeah it's 06 wheels. Some juevo in a riced out civic almost ran me off the road and I bent 2 rims on the same side. My cousin gave me his 06 wheels for free. Getting new wheels next week. G-Games Sidewinder's !!

Since no one has jumped on this one yet...I will. Imagine you just put new lowering suspension on your TSX, and you crouched down behind your car and stared towards the front. When you lower the TSX the camber of the back two tires is thrown off just by the nature of how our suspension components interact. Now imagine this is your axle with tires before lowering |----|, when you lower it your car will look like this to some degree /---\, that is negative camber. This gives the appearance that the top of the tire is tucked in. The opposite would be positive camber that looks like this \---/. Usually cars have an adjustment in the rear that will correct camber but our TSX's don't, so you have to buy a "kit", which is just a series of adjustable rods that replace the ones we have stock.

Hope this helps,

neckbone,

you should have put your wheels on first because if you put a 40 series tire on that drop w/ 18's you are going to want to go lower because the overall diameter of a 18 inch wheel w/ a 40 series tire is smaller than the stock tire i had the same problem i was looking at the pro-kit and i opted for the sport-line kit and I am happy i did it. just a thought.

Jason.
