Spooooooooonnnnnaaaaaggggeeeee

finally got some new parts in. I was going to install them myself but the balljoint tool was $80 and my buddies shop wanted $100 to install them both so I figured for an extra $20 I dont have to deal with the hassle of learing the ball joint puller. Should have them installed in the next month right now since the shop is booked 2 weeks out and then I have 2 back to back shows right after that.

I present Spoooooonnnnaaaaaagggggeeeee.

nice pickup, I'd love a set of these. Let me know how clearance is once they're installed man. They're my only chance of going any lower :P

Sorry they are Spoon Upper Control Arms. They allow me to add more negative camber up front.

do you have any clunking noises up front at all from them. I have some right now so I am starting to think I have a lose bolt or now I need to tighten my front endlinks. also how tight did you make the control arms mounting bolts cause if I made them tight to specs the control arms moved on the bolt instead of the bearing doing the moving. once I tightened them so that the washers didnt move it seems it takes more force to move them now but thats how i left them.

I have some clunking noises under acceleration in 1st and 2nd gears, and occassionally during braking. The clunking noise is coming from the passenger side only, and I think it is from the front. I've inspected all suspension components on the passenger side (front and rear), and couldn't find anything loose. I might remove and reinstall the coilovers and the Spoon arm sometime in the future to further inspect everything.
