Some Bad News...
Got into an accident a few hours ago, while turning into a plaza. My misjudgement caused this... so of course it's my fault. The other driver was an old lady, and she was pretty nice about it. Her car suffered a little damage... but I gotta figure out how I am going to replace the hood, headlight, bumper, rebar, radiator etc.

wow, that looks pretty nasty, glad everyone's okay.
so by your post I'm guessing you don't carry insurance.
not collision anyway.
it's sad to see the car like that. hope you can fix er up soon.

if it makes you feel any better, that whole rate hike thing is false.
my wife totalled her car last year.
so I thought, "great, insurance is going way up now."
but that's not the case. Insurance company told me they can't do that, it's
against the law. And they also said that if there was any effect what so ever
it would take over a year to kick in.
I can't remember the specifics, but I talked with 5 companies about it. I was
switching insurance right after the accident. They all said the same thing, that
the accident would not affect the rate.
I think it's a myth. You have insurance for this exact reason. If you're not going
to use it, why do you have it? Paying for nothing?
if you're going that route, just carry minimum liability, then you'd have the money
already to fix the car. otherwise you pay extra for insurance, and repairs, losing twice.

ah...
didn't think of that.
do they know it's lowered?
I called my insurance company and went over all the mods with them.
The guy came to my house, took pictures, etc. He told me that I'd have to pay
more each year to cover all the mods, but didn't tell me how much. He said
I'd know when I get the bill.
"Ah, it won't be too much, don't worry..."
He had no problems with the suspension though... thank god.
Some companies will drop your coverage for that.

Wow. Sorry to hear about that man! I would definitely hit up the insurance company. Like it was said....why would you pay full coverage if you aren't gonna use it? It's at least worth a try.

good to see your ok! as the other members have said there has been a chain of accidents occurring to tsx owners. Most of them are all front side collisions too.
Look at it this way. With your bumper off you can remove your oem resonator box for more airflow to that SR intake from the wheel well .

Is waiting in
Sorry to hear about the accident, it's okay as long as your safe. Phase bumper looks like it can fix a few of those problems, lol. Lady hit my car last year and the rates went up for all 4 of my family's vehicles (NYC)

Ah...you were running low on windshield washer fluid anyway. Now you can get that filled up while they are fixing it!
In all seriousness...glad that you're alright. Find yourself a good body shop and she'll be looking like new in no time. Don't worry yourself about the insurance. I'm sure it'll be covered.

mmmmmm....
wow!! glad that you are okay... I'm guessing that it's going to be $5-6k easily fot the damage...This doesn't look like something that you can pay off w/ your own pocket money, unless you got some deep pocket!! I suggest that you go through your insurance and deal with your insurance later.

also, don't you think your insurance will be notified anyways since the lady did have some damage to her car? did you cut some sort of deal with her where you would pay all her expenses out of pocket? if so, don't be surprised by the estimates bc it will be a lot of $$$$$$ for her damage and your damage. I would just go through insurance. this is what its there for and this is why you pay premiums every year.
