ya man..... let dave enjoy his 20s.... it's his style and if you check the weight, they are pretty light~ and don't worry dude, i feel you, the TSX is damn slow..... but, what can you do?? The luxury options really attract the chicks...... and don't worry, Hondata is working for the 05~

The factory ECU as well as the DBW is still retained. I have a temporary fuel/ignition system on the car that is still being developed which is what is holding back the release of the kit. For anyone wanting just the turbo kit, it will be offered without the fuel/ignition system for now. To get the complete kit will take a some time.

TSX turbo kit...
The basic bolt-on kit will not run with the oem ecu but will still be offered for anyone planning on using their own engine mangement unit. I will be experimenting with the Greddy E-Manage Ultimate piggy-back computer along with a set of RC 550cc injectors. I was told by Greddy that the E-Manage Ultimate does work with DBW equipped cars so I will be trying this setup and will post the results. The only system that I know of that is guaranteed to work is the HKS F-CON V Pro but I don't know how many of you are willing to spend that kind of money. When the TSX turbo kit is released without the fuel/ignition sytem, it will include:
- Turbonetics T3/T04E turbo
- Spearco FMIC
- 2.5" downpipe
- Tial wastegate
- cast turbo manifold
- Greddy Type-RS BOV
- all chromed I/C piping
- battery tray
- all silicon couplers and clamps
- all hardware
- oil sending/return lines
- fuel and vacuum lines
Certain components of the kit can be upgraded for additional cost i.e., 3" downpipe, ball-bearing turbo, HKS BOV, etc...
This is still not certain yet so please let me know what you guys think.

How do you know of its functionality with the K24A2 though? I've not yet heard of an EMU that will work with all the crap the stock ECU has to keep track of (VSA, DBW, climate control, electrical accessories, etc.)
This probably warrants its own thread, because I suspect there is much more interest lurking out there. I bet if you made a post about this in P&P you would receive a lot more attention.
Also, you guys are probably going to have another SoCal TSXer this coming spring. I'm trying to move back to San Diego. New England sucks.

I love your car man, it'd be cool to actually see it in person!

Agreed but I never saw this thread before and it's very interesting, I wonder what happened to this... it would be nice to have the choice of daily-drivable turbo as well as the Comptech Supercharger.

the RDX turbo is purely for economy. the turbo is infact super small. its really slim and small and tiny. not intended to be a performance turbo.

Engine management is done but I can't give out any info on it until everything is finished. I'm changing a couple of components on the turbo kit which is holding up completion of the car. I'm trying to have it ready for the next Bay Area meet. Thanks for your patience, dyno sheet to follow...

WHP #'s
btw, can anyone confirm how much WHP the Dazz/HKS TSX makes? Anyone aware of any other WHP #'s of other FI'd TSX's? Just trying to get an idea of what the range is...
