Ronjon In The House
Finally here new suspension kit and my new set of wheels 19 x 8.5 inspyres I'm gonna order some 245/35/19 tires. Ron told me that the 245's are better for ride quality, but the 235's give it an even sportier look. Anyway, what do u guys think? 245's or 235's? I want whatever is best for the car...and I will post pics of my car when I get the wheels on.

I would do 235 or do 205/45/19 and go baller and do the stretched tire look.

Do the boxes say 8.5" wide? I think I gave you the wrong size, they should be 7.5" wide. And tires should be 225/35/19 for an aggressive looking sporty tire, 235/35/19 for a larger sidewall. The 225/35/19 will not look like those tires above, lol, but will make the wheels look like 19" or even 20". the 235 will ride a litttle better, but some may look at it and think they are 18" becasue of the sidewall shape and size.

The real kit cost almost $2k and it's made of fiberglass.

I had 245 on my 19x8.5 (+41 offset) and lowered about 1.75 front and back and it rubbed when I hit bumps. Looks like you're installing Teins and going to lower the car, so it will most likely rub with 245. I couldn't stand it anymore after a couple of months of rubbing. With 235, you're buying yourself about 1/4 inch clearance, but not much. Either way, go with 235.

I used to run 245/35/19 before and i never had a problem with that size.

I need to see a front profile of your car so I can see how "flush" it is with the wheel well. But it looks like my wheels were wider than yours and it barely stuck out.
