Mine isn't low but its like on the 8 and 12 rear threats of basics, that just gives me enough before rubbing driveways.

vs aspe

haha

first day with teins i think this was like 3 or 5 threads up. When i say threads i mean if you count the actual tiny threats from the bottom of coilover.

I had to raised the car before i could find a shop to do an alignment.

dropped to the lowest setting lol...

hey crazy azn. did u adjust both rings? or only the top one?? my friend was saying to only adjust the top one?? i've been searching around but no body really talks about adjusting teins.. i noticed the red/blue spring setup that wong has.. but im guessing thats different because i saw 3 rings. and not just 2.

flex is a pillar type same with buddy club.

Basics is just the two rings you need to adjust the ring closest to the spring then the other nut is to lock it.

The two rings should basically should hold and touch. Don't over tighten.

front is as low as possible (unless i were to remove one of the perch rings) and the rear has about 2 threads remaining. i previously had s.techs on stock struts (only other suspension mod is a progress RSB), and IMO the ride quality with the basics is worse. i'm sure if i rode on the tein recommended settings (very conservative height), the ride quality would improve. but if you wanna play the game, you gotta pay the price. i will probably upgrade to CSTs at one point. i also have a rear camber kit awaiting installation. maybe, just maybe this will improve it some

looks good diggler.. damn. maybe i need a lip kit... but i can barely make it up my driveway now LOL. i had to raise mine up... i actually went up until i was on the spring. and couldn't go anymore.. it still looks pretty good. and i still ocassionally rub. i think i want to upgrade sometime in the FUTURE too. after i get my sc.. it's definitely at the bottom of my list since my basics are doing okay now.

so to lower it, you guys had to spin the lower perch rings up towards the springs?

Now, go jack up the car and see if the spring is sitting loose on the spring perch. Most likely it is. If you want to go really low and retain suspension travel, this is not the right setup for you.

That's one reason I'm wishing I'd gotten FLEX. I have Tein SS and have appx. 5 threads remaining in front and 3 in rear. It's plenty low for me in a daily driver, but sometimes I wish I could go lower. I don't want to with SS, however, because I've already compromised spring pre-load enough with my drop, that it would be really messed up if I slammed the car.

I dont have to "go jack up the car" to see if the spring is sitting loose on the perch, I know it is. And your right this isnt the right setup for me, I should of went with Buddyclub N+'s so I could of slammed my car lower.
