Yeah i was considering a thule rack. But i think yakima looked and best. And for around $400 I felt it was a better price.
And plus i did not like the way that the thule had to be set up. The sales man started talking bout screwing into my car and i turned that down rather fast.

They do add noise to the ride, especially on the highway. It's not too bad though. I did just take tham off after having them on for the summer and it is really nice a nd quiet. Maybe the wind deflector would help??? No idea about the xxx comment...
