pics of Xenon lights/

Anyone out there have pics of how bright the xenon lights are compared to other cars ( BMW's, Audi's..Benz's etc.)

how does Acura TSX's xenon lights compare in brightness/sharpness to other car makers?

would you rate it as higher or better than the other car makers ?

HIDs are HIDs. Most carmakers use a combination of Phillips 4100k with projector beams.

They're all great, but there isn't much difference as it used to be when you'd compare halogen reflectors beams on older cars.

Well, some manufacturers use slightly different colors. Acura's tend to be pretty white though.

I think it all depends on how the individual manufaturers design their projector lenses. They most likely refract the light differently through the prism. I believe they all use the same kelvin temp in all makes. Well maybe an acception could be made for those earlier purple TL's and Benz's.

TSX projectors are better than some bmws, audis, benzes, etc....in terms of color, sharpeness, brightness and light distribution. Many ppl that do projector retrofits use tsx projectors over the others auto makers mentioned. TSX are pretty similar to the s2000s.

2001 MB S500

Hopefully you guys can tell that the TSX dominates. They are so much brighter than both the lexus and mercedes. I know, I know, Not really the greatest pictures but i just got the camera and im still trying to figure out how to use it. Hope that's good neough for now. After i posted it, i realized how shitty the pics are and you cant tell anything from tehm. SO il tell you. TSX def has the brightest by far. Lexus RX300 has teh second brightest, but you still can not see as far with the lexus. And teh MB comes in last place....You guys ever notice how you can see a distinct line on the road from our headlights? Lexus and Mercedes dont have it. So our TSX comes in first by far. Sorry for the shitty pics.

The TSX's HID's are great overall, but there is one nit I have to pick. In conditions when ambient light is low, e.g. the country, back roads, there is an annoying cutoff that can be distracting.

If you can use the high beams this is largely eliminated, though.

Not sure if auto-leveling headlamps would solve this. Overall they're great, especially around town.
