Pics of powdercoat valve cover and ingalls ETD added to the bay

Finally decided to powdercoat my valve cover metallic sky blue and install the Ingalls ETD, the ETD is the shit pair with the Mugen quick shifter their no more sluggish shifting it is precise, quick and very solid but I did notice a slight vibration in the cabin though. As seen in the pics I also phile a piece of the Cusco to clear the upper portion of the AC line and when you look closely at the Ingalls chasis bracket also phile a piece of the bracket to clear the lower AC line, you must do this if only you have the Cusco STB. With the ETD I use my own zince plated bolt and use a quarter inch aluminum spacer to the engine bracket to make the ETD parallel to the valve cover and I didn't use the supply bolt and it matches the ingalls bracket better.

Here is a couple more shots of the VC. When lights hits it you will see the metallic in it shining and well worth the $85 as a good alternative to those JDM red VC which is so playout.

Stupid question, what is the small blue box(looks like a small amp almost) over the battery? Ive seen this on other cars but have never known what its function is.

Sorry didnt want to hijack the thread, but thought starting a new one would be pointless.

I copy and paste from the other forum this is what it is suppose to do. Well all I can say it is definitely add colors to the engine bay and I felt just a slight improvement in the rev range in the upper rpm like 5000k+ rpm.

The T1R V-Power Voltage Stabilizer regulates the voltage of the car's electrical system, providing constant voltage at all times. Normally the electrical system's voltage will fluctuate under acceleration resulting in power loss and rough power delivery. The Voltage Stabilizer eliminates this voltage fluctuation, providing a constant voltage, thereby smoothening power delivery and optimizing power. Low rpm performance is improved noticeably, with improved response, acceleration, and smoothness. Fuel economy is also improved, especially for city driving condition.

Ingalls setting is at 14mm so I set it to 13mm which is the median between the softest and stiffest setting. This setting works perfect escpecially with my 6MT.

That is one ballin engine bay. It gets better everytime I see it. Now you just need... a big centrifugal s/c from comptech on it =D

12.5mm is the median setting, ((10+15)/2)

I don't want to hyjack either but this really caught my attention. This is new to me - so pardon the noob question. Does the Voltage Stabilizer have to work with another mod, or is it something you can get by itself? I understand what it does - was surprised by your comment that it improved fuel economy.

Oh, and your car is awesome. I know it all performs well, but it looks amazing too.

Hmmm, it seems that "blue-themed" engine bays are becoming played out as well ...

...looks good, though

It works just by itself.
