Pics of my new red TSX!

Hello everyone! I've been visiting these forums since I got my TSX a couple weeks ago. I've already learned so much and know just where to turn when I have a question.

Well ok...it's not exactly new, but I must say that this 04 car is in amazingly good condition compared with several that I test drove when I was shopping. I just wanted to share some pics I took a couple days ago in the nice fall scenery... Hope you like em!

Suspension definitely isn't stock.

Any idea on what the suspension set-up is when you purchased the car?

Those are some really nice pix. I would've post some of mine MR tsx if I had a better camera. I have only seen one other MR TSX in my town.

I don't really know anything about the suspension...how could I check to see what type it has. I thought it just looked lower because of the body kit.

Yeah I agree, its lowered, but its not A-SPEC for sure. Cause for the A-spec drop you need magnifying glasses and a tape measure to see it!

Sweet pics! More, more!

First thing I noticed was that painted grill trim, looks good!

Second was the ride height, def. not stock. I think the '04 rims look good already, but your car is screamin' for some rims!

+1 '06 MR/eb 6MT

I like that your grille trim is painted red. That looks GREAT! Or... is that the way 04/05s come? Mine is chrome.

I'm glad your car's previous owner has spent time on his car and didn't rice it up. Hope you like it.

immaculate. Did it come with the center area wood accents or did you add it yourself?

It came with the extra wood trim. I actually purchased this car online and from the pictures, the wood didn't appeal to me that much either, but it has already grown on me. I definitely like it more than the dark wood I have seen in other cars...gives it a nice luxurious feel. I also really like the contrast of the tan leather, wood trim, and black dash as well.

I agree! The quality is awesome! The fourth pic really looks like a picture of a toy TSX. Those pics are great! Nice car, too!

Welcome from a fellow Milano Red 6MT owner.

Car looks beautiful! The suspension drop and the kit really set the car off. I love the custom grill paint as well.

If you ever get tired of the wood, you have the option of converting to the silver as I did:

Any idea where the wood trim kit came from? I've got the same car (04 MR, Parchment interior with wood trim), though completely stock. I absolutely love the light interior with the wood trim. My center console area is looking a bit abused by the previous owner and if I'm going to replace it, I'd really love to go with the wood finish. It just oozes refinement.

I used a Canon Rebel XT, shooting in Large/RAW and tweaked in photoshop. In response to LukeaTron, I'm not sure where the wood trim kit came from. I've noticed the expanded aluminum kit also comes with the custom TSX engraving where over the cigarette lighter spot. I'm just guessing this can be ordered from Acura's accessory page.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to look around.

I forgot to mention that those are some very nice shots. 1 and 4 are my favorites. Very professional looking. I have the previous revision of the same camera and I love it. It takes fantastic shots. I've kind of reached the bounds of it's technical abilities after 3 years and now I'm looking fondly in the direction of the 5D. Having played with one, it's very nice having many of the features that involve either menus or holding down more than one button on the Rebel have their own dedicated buttons or dials. Plus the kit lens with its optical stabilizer is a steal at the $400 difference from the body only package.

I was going to ask what kind of camera you used, but already got that answer. Thanks a lot.

Stock 04/05 rims- good (I had them as well)

Nice aftermarket rims on an already tasteful exterior- MUCH better.

thanks again!

Hellooo...sorry it's taken me a while to reply. Thanks again for the comments. To the person who asked about the window tinting, I don't know what percent tinting it is. But I can tell u that I have been pulled over twice for it!
