pics of my car plus dyno numbers

well after a year of ownership of my car i decided to detail it back to brand new condition. I also got a chance to get it on a dyno here in fynetune in miami. i like the numbers for a pretty much bone stock car with a velocity stack.
the only things done to are:
velocity stack
k&n replacement air filter
acura RL center caps
acura all season floor mats

here are the pics:

the first pull was a 3rd gear pull where the car did 187whp 149wtq
the second pull was a 4th and while the hp was lower but the torque was higher 185whp 152wtq overall i like the numbers but i've heard that the dyno on that shop reads a little low (its a four wheel dyno) and it makes me want to find a way to kpro this car hehe

Isn't a velocity stack just a horn shaped intake with no filter on it? I haven't ever seen one in person or on this forum.

Nice pics and numbers BTW

well it depends i guess you could do that on race cars but i wouldnt like the idea of driving w/o a filter

Get a bigger filter and you can actually place the velocity stack in it.. get a 6 inch AEM filter. But from your pics it looks like your running the stock air box?.. I dont get it

i took off the resonator. in place of the resonator i put the 45 deg elbow with the v/stack its pretty much the same design as the comptech airbox. so im running the stock airbox with k&n filter and instead of a resonator, a velocity stack.

"STD" is still a correction standard calculated by the SAE...it just adjust based on a higher pressure and lower ambient temperature reference than "SAE" correction.

I dunno. BUt u didn't do those engine mods, and you have the same hp numbers as me. And with a higher torque compared to mine..!?!? @@

Because you are an manual?!?

I have a 06 AT. with Hondata, Intake, Header. 185.7 with 138.9 torque.

me as well as most people i know go with Sandard because that one is pretty much the same wherever you are. the numbers with SAE corrected can vary depending on conditions altitude etc but rarely any one goes with SAE not because the numbers read low (which is not true. i've seen times where SAE reads higher than standard) but because they are very inconsistent.
STD proves consistency regardless of wheather conditions and altitude, it is much easier to compare. it still varies but not as much as SAE corrected or uncorrected where you can dyno a car in the morning and get a number then in the afternoon dyno the same car again on the same dyno and get another number.

msmching: i think there can be a difference in AT to MT due to the fact that different fuel maps and ignition settings are being used. as for my experience with TSX my aunt has an 06 at and that thing feels slow even with the manual shift mode. so i would say there is a difference between the cars. also are your numbers standard or SAE corrected? because as precysestylez said STD reads a little higher most of the times..
