Pics of hit and run damage

I posted in the general forum about how a TAXI T-boned me and left the scene. Below are the pics of the accident. So far the estimated repairs are about $2,079. However, this was based on a ten minute visual inspection. The cost may rise if they find any more problems. With that being said, could there possibly be more damage other than the obvious cosmetic one? We'll see. I want my baby back to factory spec conditions.. How wonder how much this will hurt re-sale or trade-in value? =(

It shouldn't hurt the resell value if you do a professional/perfect fix.

Anyways, hope everything works out fine.

Thanks.. After the body shop repairs the damage, is there any place I can take the car to make sure the quality of the repair was perfect? and there is no hidden/kenetic damage involved from the accident? The damage really isn't that severe but you never know.

As for the hit and run suspect.. Since I have the license plate and a witness, should I try to contact a lawyer or should I just let my insurance company take care of it. They are going pretty slow in the process though.

Hit and run is generally a felony. Get the cops involved.
