PasswordJDM Foglights on! yee yee

Wuts up guys and gals, here are some pics I took after me and some friends installed the PasswordJDM foglights. The install took about 3 hrs, and we partially followed the instructions they included with the foglights.

A good tip for installing these foglights are to follow these http://www.handaaccessories.com/tsx/08V31.pdf (for the USDM foglights) along with the instructions PasswordJDM supplys you because our TSX layout is a little different than the 2003 Honda Accords.

Have any questions, feel free to PM me! Enjoy....

thanks for looking =)

Looks great

Judging from members who had these lights already, I think they are actually quite yellow in real life. It's probably just the pics?

thanks for all the comments yall! yes, i did the rewire myself...it's actually not that difficult. We didn't even go through the firewall into the cabin....we just connected the green wire from the foglight harness into the pre-connector (pre-installed by Acura) and conencted the green wire from the switch harness to the 2 pin connector.

color is actually REALLY YELLOW instead of amber. it is the pics that make it look amber. I'm using the Nokya Hyper Yellow bulbs.

Basically they are the same. Fitment and quality is superb and the installation is pretty smooth. I also think these are a little brighter than stock because it gives that "yellow" light output which to me seems brighter. I matched these foglights with Nokya Hyper Yellows so they are even MORE yellow.

You can also turn on these foglights without the low beams on. You just a separate switch with these.

thanks for all the comments guys!

haven't thought about protecting them....i'm afraid that LaminX film might cause that brownish/burnt look on my foglights, but i dunno. Anyone have experience with LaminX?

sorry bout that, cleaned up the inbox already. Nope, I didnt have to take off my bumper. I took off my grill and it gave me plenty of space to access the foglights. It is much easier than taking off the whole bumper.

thanks! i think with any color TSX, these foglights looks sweet....gives off that JDM yellowness effect. not to mention, Excelerate supplies these foglights and his pricing is UNBEATABLE.

Is the wiring plug and play? Do I need prior electrical knowledge? Are the instructions supplied by hondaworld and password jdm easy to understand?

Wiring is plug and play, and no you do not need any MAJOR prior electrical knowledge. Heck, I didn't even know how foglights worked until I installed them with a friend. Definately have another set of helping hands, it will be much faster.

Instructions supplied by PasswordJDM is about 70% helpful because it refers to a 2003 Honda Accord (Euro/JDM version of the TSX) , so you would need to look at Hondaworld's instructions to get an understanding of the TSX layout. Goodluck.

I tried to install password jdm fog lights on the weekend and I am having problems with the wiring. Right now I have a three plugs that I have no clue where to connect. 1) From the foglight harness, a brown plug 2) From the switch harness, the red wire 2-pin connector and 3) From the switch harness, the green wire 3-pin connector. And where is this pre-connector? Thanks for your help!

The green 3-pin connector should be connected to a plug under the steering wheel
