Painted 07 Oem Rims
#42
Let me help you!
it looks fine to me, although I don't like black rims. It's the close-up picture of the rims that makes it look cheap. Was that the final picture, or just a picture taken during the middle of the painting process?

all right all right that's enough
let's give some respect, this ain't no 5th grade forum
i wanted to clarify that in my area, powder coating is quite expensive.
and i KNOW even with 50 hrs of sanding, this won't be as good as powder coated rims. and because of that, i'm saving money to get some Volks CE28 or TE37s for later mod for the tsx.
don't comment on how i'm gonna find another set of OEM rims and so on ...
it's my business, i'll find my new OEM rims when selling my ride. for now, i'm going to enjoy my car within my budget of mods.
liquid, i love them personally, i guess we have similar taste.
and you know what, it's better than my carbon fiber fuel lid.

i took this picture with my camera phone so quality isn't that great. ill take a pic tomorow with my dslr since i was a bit busy today.

^^ I think you should powdercoat your rims... Do not paint your rims because they will chip off like no other. I got custom paint on my rims and it is pretty bad. So, if you decided to powdercoat your rims then find something that is near to gunmetal color (there is no such thing as gunmetal color in powdecoating), or gold.
