Damage doesn't look too bad. Since it didn't puncture through all the way, you might be able to sand the area down and apply a minimal amount of body filler and smooth it out. It would be cheaper than having to replace the bumper cover.

It is simple my friends....snow and ice patch while slowing down (going 5-10km) for a red light with a Jeep Cherokee in front of me. It was all in slow motion. Luckily (?) I hit the trailer hitch only so the guy was cool about it and told me he didn't care and drove off. Now I'm dreading the repair cost.

some girl backed into me the second week i had my car at school...it punctured the bumper so i head to get it replaced. it was around 700. i also got hit from behind by some one parking his jeep during the summer which also punctured the bumper so i have two new bumpers on my car lol.
