New Photos of my '06 Milano Red

I spent Saturday washing, polishing, and waxing my TSX, so I went around town today and took some photos (before it rains tomorrow ). Enjoy!

What are you drop on, it would look nicer if it was a little lower.

It is dropped on Tein H-Tech springs and I think it is just perfect... if it was lower then the sides of the wheel wells would have far too much gap and the car would lose its proportions/stance. I'm going for a look that looks like something Acura could sell and not something that is "obviously" modified.

Thanks!

It is a bit of a custom concoction made up of parts purchased from your local hardware store. If you do a search for front license plate then a few threads come up with guys mounting it in this way... but basically I use the two screw holes for the stock mount to then screw metal braces into which hold the plate. I had to bend the bottom portion of the plate up to make it fit, but it is one of my favorite mods (I'd rather not have the plate but Missouri state troopers have pulled me over twice prior to mounting it).

Actually, it was tinted, and I recently had it removed. I never wanted this car tinted but the dealer had it tinted before i bought it. I prefer the clean/clear look that shows off the red/parchment combo.

^^haha, i tried that but the shift pattern came out diagonal. i'm guessing if bleser's tsx came like that it might be missing the bolt.

J/K, the springs ride wonderfully. I've had them for about 10,000 miles now on stock shocks (as advertised that you can do with the h-techs) and they are not at all bouncy or harsh yet you can tell it is a very sporty ride - a true sports sedan feel. A lot more could be done to imporve the handling of the ride but this is a great start and gives it a great look, too!

i think im gonna get this exact setup, do you have the silver or anthracite finish? looks silver, i might get the rsb too. does anyone know if this will void the warranty?

beautiful....i noticed your 'horizontal' aluminum strip in the interior, this is usually faux wood grain; your's in much better.

Have you considered a lip spoiler?

All ASA AR2s (as far as I know) are machined face with anthracite inner wheel finish, and is what I have.

Thanks! Yeah, I think replacing my faux wood with the aluminium is the best thing I've done to the car (beisdes the wheels and suspension, maybe).

I have, but it's low on my list. I love what they did with the '06+ stock facia.

Very lovely looking. Bravo on removing the fake wood. The aluminum-look plastic trim is much more consistent with other things (steering wheel, audio knobs).

That's exactly why I did it... the parchment just has too much going on color-wise with the wood. This removes that color and just brings the whole cabin together nicely. It also goes much better with the coloring of the gauges and ambient lighting (blue light on fake wood = ).

i'll agree with the other, the aluminum trim looks 100 times better than the "wood"...never seen it against parchment before yours, thumbs up!

as much as i love your wheels i will stick with the ones that came with the car. i am saving up for my next new car- i average about 30,000 miles a year so i usually start looking at new cars when the car is 21/2-3 years old so 09's hopefully will look great.

Not sure if you knew this, but I don't think the question was asking about a lip kit, but rather the M3-style lip spoiler for the trunk lid. I think one of those would look great on your car and maintain the understated yet sporty + classy look you've got going on as a whole.

Yours is one of the few cars I would not recommend JDM headlights for, in fact. The orange works nicely with the milano red.

Whoops, you're right, they did say spoiler, didn't they?

I've considered one, but it might be a ways off before I get it. Definantly on the list, though! And I agree, the JDM headlights would look good, but aren't necessary with the MR.

I really love your TSX. The silver trim really looks great on the parchment interior, very classy and sporty looking at the same time. Well done!

I LOVE THIS DROP!!!

I agree, this is the drop that should have come with the car.

Other than purchasing the Tein H-tech springs, what other parts do i need to replicate this drop? Tools excluded. Are you rims and Kumho tires the same size as our OEM's?

How does the ride compare with the OEM springs? Is the change significantly different?

So many questions...i just love what you've done!
