New to the Forum...Hello All

Hey all,

Just got my 2k4 TSX last week & have done a few things to modify it already...

Lowered suspension is most likely going to be done next weekend. Interior mods will follow...stay tuned.

Well...seems that I can't post pics...

Something about the fitment of your wheels just doesn't look right. I can't put my finger on it, but they look smaller than the stockers.

I think as soon as it is lowered it will look really good, fill up the wheel well gap, and make them look bigger.

I'm going to guess they're 215/40/17 tires?

I think those are 18s. Jumpman23 mentioned that he had 18s in another thread.

In addition to the lip making the rim look smaller than stock, it appears the offset is too low. Looks like the rim may be sticking out a bit. There's a good size lip on the rim so I'd guess the offset is something like +38 or even lower.

Yep...the wheels are 18"s. I bought them off a friend for to put on an 2k3 Tiburon...I have never measured the offset...but it is pretty low. Looking at the car from the back...the wheel/tire is almost dead even with the outside edge of the fender.

The tire size is 225/40/18.

I posted in the Suspension Forum about my plans for lowering the stance...hopefully that will happen next weekend. Gotta get the coils ordered & find a camber kit that is a little less $$$ than the Comptech stuff...for all 4 corners it looks like close to $400. Unless someone can clarify whether I need to all that...

Just get the Ingalls rear camber kit. You can get it for around $130 to $140 shipped. Front camber stays within spec after lowering.

Very nice. And SSM just like mine!! Those chrome rims look nice too. Once you get it lowered and a body kit, shazam!!

The TSX is a very sensitive car when it comes to rims.

So 5/10 on your wheels, but congratulations on your purchase!
