NBP - OEM Bodykit Installed - Pictures

I just got my OEM body kit installed by the dealership. I love the look of it. I'm on stock suspension, but am very tempted to get the A-spec suspension for $585 over at Honda Acura World.

How much did you pay for the kit? For the install?

I paid $827 shipped for the body kit from Honda Acura World when they had the last Group Buy.

I paid $237 for installation from the dealership. Your mileage may vary on the quote for the installation. It's a rather long story that I don't want to get into of how I was able to get a price that low (lowest price I've seen from other members who had their kits installed by the dealership).

Well, considering Tim at Honda Acura World is actually the Parts Manager at Rays Lakes Acura Dealership in Buffalo New York, I'd say the quality was factory-fresh??

Ok, sarcasm aside, the OEM body kit, is of course, a "Genuine Acura" accessory. Therefore, it was designed to fit perfectly like legos.

A-Spec Suspension

I'm still debating. I live where some of the roads are heavily damaged. Huge bumps, pot-holes, manhole covers that stick out of the ground by 2", uneven surfaces, steep entrances are all common. I use to be in a lowered Eclipse, and it was so horrible, I had to go back to stock suspension after only driven the lowered Eclipse for 3 wks!

As far as the TSX, I love the look of a 1.8"-2.0" drop, but I don't think my car could handle these pot holes. Also, driveway entrances to stores/shopping centers can be substantially steep....even too steep to go in at large angles (i.e. one wheel at a time).

A 1.5" drop would be ideal for me. I think the A-spec suspension lowers people's car anywhere from 0.5" - 1.5", with most users reporitng a 1" drop. But the advantage of A-spec is that a rear camber kit is probably not necessary.

How does my car look exactly like your car then?! Just because we both have a 2005 with the OEM kit? And so do half of the people in this forum..

Yeah, but it IS worth $600 for the increase in handling with almost no penalty to ride quality.

grrr....I'm torn on the suspension. I could pay for some Tien Basics and adjust the ride height to 1.5" drop....but I don't want to sacrifice ride quality.

I'm after good looks, performance, and good ride quality. I want it all!

can't wait to see when it gets dropped, i personally wouldn't get just 1/2 drop. but thats understandable if your roads are not that great. either way, you made a good choice of getting the oem kit for you car. Either drop will make it look better

A-Spec Suspension Ordered

Ok, I ordered the A-Spec from Tim at Honda Acura World. I guess I'll be posting pics of it installed in 2-3 wks. I would love some Tein SS...really I would. But these roads are horrible...I live in one of the top 5 largest cities in the country. Thus, lots of the roads are very old...and driven on by millions of people monthly. If I get the ole 1.8" drop like most people do, my front spoiler would be ripped up in 2 wks

i got the same car, same year, same kit.... you should have found someone to help you put it on.... it took a day to put on my kit... the instructions were detailed and the parts fit perfectly.... i dont think its worth paying 1/4 the price of the kit to install it.... some places dont send you instructions on how to put it on... but if ne one needs the 05 or 06 instructions for the OEM body kit... i got... message me
