My TSX ... Police edition

Well not quite a TSX Interceptor, but I did get my issue Eagle Eye tonight (and no, I can't put that thing on whenever I want to ...unfortunately).
The pictures are crap, I apologize my camera is almost out of batteries and by the time I got the siren it was already late night and I had the car in the garage. I'll take some better ones once I get back to college next week.

No, I'm not a police officer, but I am currently under contract with the Department of Defense, and this job has required me before to go across residentials at a high rate of speed, generally in order to get to the base right away. Therefore I made a case with my CO to let me obtain a siren and he gave me the authorization so I was able to purchase one legally.
I won't be intalling strobes, the siren does a good enough job by itself. Stokeless, yes an eagle eye is the solo, blue in my case, light that you put on top.

Yeah, and maybe bulletproof it too (will be nice when driving through Compton). No seriously, there is no way my CO would reimburse me for that. I'm damn lucky to have gotten the Eagle Eye, which is only $50.

I like the Black tsx, but to put that bra on..ughhh doesn't look to nice. Plus, when you keep it on long enuff you'll have a two-tone color. needs to get rid of it. Jus my opinion.

Well I'm not a big fan of how the bra looks either, but it's much better than having chipped paint. Anyways I got it for free from the dealership. I might take it off once I'm back in LA, however.

I looked into the clear bra back a cuple months ago when you origionaly posted that pic. Closest place that will do it for me is 80 miles away. Plus they will charge me $678.97. I sucks being in Central Cali. Some day I will go down to LA and Get is done for about $425.00

I used to work for the city putting in Radios and sirens/lights on police cars. We had about 15 accords, camrys, and maximas and we had to put hidden lights and radios in the cars for the undercover dectectives. They have lights that go right above where the rear view mirror is. With the Super Bright LED lights, these lights really can blind people (uses the same technology that is used on those keychains with the super right LED that can be seen up to a mile). So, you have to be blind to miss these lights.

Something like this: http://www.lshlights.net/catalog/tal...en_2142296.htm

This is only if you really want to have fun. But seriously, are you pulling our leg?

This is what I think you should get right here: http://www.code3pse.com/productdtl.a...lyid=18&id=178

No, I'm serious - it's a part time job with the DoD that I got transferred to after previous work with ATEC, Army Testing and Evaluation Command, but I can't say much more than that on a big public forum.

I'd get one of the LED lights but they wouldn't reimburse me for the full price. What I have now works pretty well, but of course can't compare. As for the blinding factor, that's what the Surefire M6 is for...

Oh shit! It's a secret fucking agent driving a TSX!

Government-bought cars are all domestic, aren't they? So I guess that's your car that you happen to use for work?

Yeah of course it's my car - shit, it took a lot of convincing just to get the $50 reimbursement for the Eagle Eye. Secret Agents don't get paid much apparently.

What is the point of a leather bra or whatever on your car? I've never understood these, is the person going to one day take it off and then have a 2 tone car? Doesn't make sense what people are trying to protect it for, maybe they are going to keep it for 20 yrs or something like that....I understand why you have it if you are in an area where you could get chips in the paint and are going to take it off when you move...but seriously, can anyone explain this? I think they look ugly....along the same lines as "pimping" out a mini van.
