Very nice. So you only have video in the headrest monitors correct? And not the Navi screen?

look nice from what I can make out. But honestly I think you jumped the guns and took the pics in dark.
you really should take in daylight.

I also have screens in my headrest! For your PS2, I would recommend some wireless controllers. These Logitech controllers are awesome and operate on a 2.4 Ghz frequency. They also only use 2 AA batteries that last for hours with rumble off. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1082742443038

But as far as this rear view mirror/monitor thing goes. Is there anything you see in that 1"screen that you don't see in that big mirror already? I can see having the pic from the cam displayed on your big 7" Nav screen, but that tiny little screen in the rear view mirror? Is it worth the time, money and effort? Just wondering?

For example...In your rearview mirror I see a car right behind you. I can't even see that car in the monitor.

Why entertain the passengers? Unless you have a chauffeur (which is pointless for the TSX), but on the mods anyway.

It's lovely.

Well...if your passenger is your little girl who you love dearly. That is why I put screens in my headrest.

Really like that PS2 mod, did you do that yourself? How are you powering it?

Been thinking of doing one like that myself, but until seeing that it will fit in the arm rest (for easy access and clean look) I hadn't been thinking about it too much. Very nice and clean look to your mod.

Nice mods man. I like the electronics!

What brand/model of backup camera is that?

I've been pricing one on Ebay and am debating between the $180 Pioneer one, and a cheaper Ebay one $60.

How is the camera mounted to the license plate?
Did you make your own custom mount, or did it come with the backup camera?

Thanks.

Guys,

Thanks for the compliments, I actually already ordred the Logitech PS2 wireless controllers, so hopefully they will be in this week.

As for the rearview mirror screen, its actually a 2.5" screen and when you are backing up, it works pretty well, you are able to use that as needed while still looking in the mirror with your eyes...also, I like the fact that you can still view DVDs or the PS2 on there (while parked, of course!)

I actually don't have any passengers, but I wanted to get the monitors and stuff so I could eventually put the car into smaller shows (once I get rims and tints)...

The PS2 is powered by the battery, its wired to it...and there is a power inverter tucked away under the seats...its working very well so far.

As for the backup camera, I have no idea what brand it is...the audio shop that installed it calls it "the bumblebee..." I will actually ask them what brand it is and report back to you all...and I am pretty sure it was a custom mount.

I will report back to you all soon...thanks!

Neil

Thanks for the info Neil. Please let me know when you hear from the shop. The backup camera is the last thing I want to get for my audio/video system and I really like that mount.

Does that camera have night vision?

for the rear view mirror, is that a whole new mirror, or a screen in the original mirror? It looks nice and how much?

IneedaTSX,

The mirror was a full replacement that has the LCD screen built-in to the mirror...it was pretty expensive, it came as a package with the rearview camera...
