My New 2006 Accord Euro - From Australia

ok, thought i'd introduce myself with some piccys...

that car is a week old, it's a graphite accord euro, standard, manual...

(just your standard/regular tsx, but with few differences since we don't have acura here in australia, so everything goes through honda)

just some quick pics from the day i picked it up...

haha, funny u say that, i i work for an american company here in sydney....and half the staff are american....maybe u can do something like that, work for an american company that has it's main office in sydney...(i was born and raised in australia though) =)

and what do u mean clear headlights? isn't it the same with your TSX? the outer covering/acrylic part of teh headlight is clear, yes...

also note how our parking light things are a sky blue colour...not orange like teh TSXs....

Corn_flakes,

Nice ride and congradulations on the purchase. I do have one question for you. What oil weight does your manual spec for your vehicle? In the US, they spec 5w-30, but I believe in Europe, they spec 0w-40. I'd love to use the 0w-40 or a 5w-40. Does your manual spec the 40w? Thanks for the help.

manual states different types of oils depending on you ambiet temperature where u live...

because we don't get to the really cold temperatures, most ppl use 15w-40

lol...everything is EXACTLY the same, except u sit on the right and use your LEFT hand to change gears....and the turn signals/indicators are located on the right - so u use ur right hand to signal....

funny u said that though...when i was in long beach for a vacation, and i drove an auto trans car, even i got mixed up.....my left hand kept reaching to the left, only to be met by the door, and my right hand kept reaching to the right for the seat belt only to be met by nothing....

16 inch stock rims...they look quite crap in the photos...they look better in real life IMO, but they aint that great either...

also a pic of the sidemarker thingy that's different to the ones u have over there in the states....

and some REALLY bright LED bulbs that i put in the door lights....they were too wide and didn't fit in my parking/position/sidemarker lights....
