My new 06 RBP

As expected I forgot my camera when I went to pick it up from the dealership... Oh well, the snow was all gone anyway.
Just a couple quick shots in my garage until I can get some real pics. There's not enough room (and pillars in the way) to get a full shot. Please excuse the horrid quality. I'm bringing my camera to work tomorrow, so we'll see what I can get then.

In the garage light, the pearl effect is VERY noticeable. At some angles, the quarter panel looks like a lighter navy blue while the hood looks like a dark purple.

Hmm, looks a lot better than it did in other photos I'd seen. I might have to see it in person myself now =P Congrats on your purchase!

Hehe, yeah, pictures don't do it justice. It's darker than most pictures I've seen. At night, it's almost like a matte black ... with a shiny clear coat. In the light, it's more definitely blue.

I got in to work this morning (with some light!) and took a pic. Pic looks good on the tiny LCD screen. Watch for more tonight!

Haha, the tennis ball was actually for the other car. It actually worked out nicely for placement! I used to park in the other spot with my Civic, but it was a PITA having to angle the car.

You can have my steering wheel if you get me a quartz interior. Damn Acura and their lack of Quartz interior for Canada...

Hi Swirlie, very nice. I too am considering getting the RBP and am looking forward to more photos. I will be getting my TSX in a few months and was wondering what kind of a deal you got with yours. (Not too many Cdn prices out there eh).

Now all you have to do is remove the protective film from the door sils and your PDI will be complete.

Hey fellow Victorian!

I actually bought my 05 tsx 6 speed manual the day the 06's were at Acura of Victoria. I got a good deal on the 05 I think. What did you pay for yours (exluding taxes)? I also have the plastic film still on the door sills.

Nice color!

Saw an exact same one (RBP, 6MT, nonNAVI) at the stealership yesterday morning and that night it was sold already...

I paid $35,688 including freight/PDI. So... $1,642 off MSRP.

Wait until tonight. I took more shots at lunch.

... remove protective film..? But it looks sooo nice! And the blue matches the blue ambience LEDs!

My timing was great. I popped in that day, too, and got to check out the cars fresh off the truck... still cozily tucked away in their packaging. It's a beautiful sight seeing a car like that.

Thanks, that'll give me a good idea of how much to ask off of MSRP.

Haha, same thing with my 04 MSM. I left the protective film on the door sils, I think it looks great that way. The blue is defintely a nice accent for the car!

It IS leather. It's just crappy picture quality.

And now for some good quality pix... (Well, about as good as 640x480 will allow. If anybody wants the originals that are 1meg to 2meg, 2560x1920, send me a pm with your email.)

Get rid of that ghastly dealler badge and frame they've stuck on your car. That was one of the few things that truely repulesd me when I was in Vancouver.....the number of cars with dealer badges stuck on the back!!!.

I figure they have no right at all to advertise on your possession, whether it's financed through them or not. When I took delivery of my car I removed their stickers in front of the sales person.

But aside from that

I took those gay dealer license plate frames off asap. Got some clear plastic "bubble covers" from the auto parts store for the clean license plate look.
