I'd say, "Welcome, man!" but I'm not sure who's newer, you or me.

I couldn't agree with you more. Very nice CGP 06- I've got an 07 myself + the OEM spoiler, too. And I love the clean look of those Aspec wheels. I think they're understated in a good way. Now after seeing them on your car, I'm seriously thinking about it.

Did they come installed or did you buy them yourself?
If you put them on, do you mind if I ask how much?

do you mean how much he got the wheels for? or how much ot costs to get them put on? It only costs like 20 dollars at discount tire to get them put on. but the rims you can maybe find on the black market here for around 1300 or so (used most likely), hope that helps you

WOOHOO! Thanks for the props all!

Most importantly - the dog is a Pit/Lab mut - she rocks.

No plans to drop the suspension, I like the ground clearance.

I purchased this car as a demo - 5k miles sold as "new" - not a huge fan of that, but I didnt want to let the car go - I loved the spoiler and wheels but would not have paid whatever the asking price for wheels is. It also came with floor mats and the trunk mats. From reviewing these boards I paid a very competitive new price - in essence I traded 5k miles for the wheels, spoiler, and mats? Still not sure if its a "deal" but I couldnt be happier with the car!

I've researched/asked this question to death - but any recomendations on tints? I'm set on 35% but WILL METALLIC MESS UP MY NAV????

I'm digging those wheels and might go for a set when I get some spare cash.

As for your question, searching these forums, I found people with positive and negative responses. Some say metallic does cause interference, others have not had problems.

If you're willing to spend extra, I'd get ceramic tint. I think the best ones available are Formula One Pinnacle and Huber Optik. These are made specifically to not interfere with nav systems/electronics.

This is a matter of debate but I firmly agree with you. Good choice on the A-Spec wheels, those are always a winner. Nice clean CGP, and the 35% tints will look great on it - almost like a different car.

Yes, metallic tint on the rear window can interfere with navi's reception. The antenna for it is right under the 3rd brake light. Stick to a ceramic tint on the rear window, and if you want them to match, ceramic tints all the way around.

Can't find ceramic tint anywhere around here - metro detroit...

Considering rolling the dice on Metallic - or going with a premium dyed tint.
