Thank God they included STICKERS.
Just kidding. Congrats on the mod. Nice pics, too. Do you feel a difference in acceleration? And what's the advantage of the short ram CAI vs. one that's closer to the ground?

The difference between a SRI(short-ram intake) and CAI(cold-air intake) isnt' much, only about 3-5whp or so. I just went with AEM over INJEN/K&N because I've had good experience with AEM in the past (not that INJEN or K&N is bad) but I duno lol..
As for a difference in acceleration, there is a bit once u get in the higher RPM's. Not too much downlow, atleast not yet. I haven't really gotten a chance to FULLY test it out yet, just been so bz with other things, and whenever I did go out driving, there was just too much traffic to really let loose heh..

Don't listen to me.
That just looks good. Two questions. How much was it? where did you get it?
I've been looking for an intake but don't want to spend more than $150.00 shipped. I know that is not really realistic but I figure that maybe I just might wait for a supercharger.

WoW, I like your AEM SRI very much.
Make me consider to purchase one.
Tempting, Must......................Resist.
P.S. Look like extremely easy to install, better than CAI (have to remove the bump)

thanks guys
Ortiz: I payed $210shipped (from accsuperstars friend)
for $150, no offense, but ur not gonna find any intake for the TSX for that much lol. Unless you wanna wait a while, u can maybe get a cheap-o ebay intake... hehe
bender unit: yea its fairly simple to install. but what I did was take the bumper off anyways, i figured i'd take off the resonator or air box or w/e that thing is that was connected to the factory intake (figure'd it'd be weight reduction) then i found it was connected to something else (any1 kno wat?) so I ended up leaving it there, and put the bumper back on...

some superchargers, like the Accord V6, TL, CL superchargers had to reposition the throttle body, and none of the other aftermarket intakes would work, thas why Comptech sold a special ICEBOX for the supercharger, because the tube was angled differently so that it would connect to the repositioned throttle body.
So unless you have to move your throttle body, any aftermarket intake should work.

Do SC's come w/ intakes? I didn't think they did. And even so, I don't think a SC should change the throttle body, so I'd assume any intake would fit, escpeially a SRI.

then can u still remove the resonator by removing just the
wheel well?

Use all 3 Pedals at once
I noticed that the AEM SRI includes a CARB sticker, which is already on it. I have the Injen CAI but the CARB number is still pending, or so they say in their e-mail response. I was just wondering for those who have the Injen CAI if you guys have a CARB number or if it was just my package that was missing one...???

If you look for it, you will notice it.
But otherwise, its not that big of a difference.
In my previous V6 Accord, when VTEC kicked in, everybody inside AND outside the car knew it kicked in lol
