I removed mine after the many attacks of "get rid of those mud gaurds before they scratch your paint" photos.

My '06 didn't come with splash guards. Pretty happy with how it looks without them. However, the white one above looks pretty hot with them painted.

I took them off, because it'll eventually scratched the paint.
Someone here posted what happened to their paint with the mudguards on awhile ago. As soon as i saw that i took it off right away.

If you take them off be careful with your speed going down dirt/rocky roads. I scratched the hell out of my stock side skirts on my Blue TSX.

I dont understand why people complain about their paint being scratched. It's not like anyone's going to see underneath it. Personally I think it's a lot better to have it.

Seems its a choice. Either get micro scratches where the mudguards make contact with the paint (not plainly visible), or get dings and scratches from items getting kicked up by your tires (may be very visible). Whether they look good or not is all subjective. I actually like the look with them on.

Got rid of mine when I installed the body kit. And, yes, one of the corners has a scratch from the mudguard

yes the mud guards do scratch your paint but you will not know it unless you take it off. if you have them then just don't take them off later, cause you will see scratches. personally i like the look with them. my 06 didn't come with them so i bought a set and installed myself.

I liked mine until the alignment shop tore one off while trying to get on the ramp at an angle...now I took them off. If I do get another set in the future, I'll be sure to remove them before each alignment (it's easy to take off anyway...only takes 5 minutes for all 4)
