Magna Carta Holy TSX
Don't mind the title of the thread, I got HOV's new joint on repeat. Ha. Anyways, here's a quick photo shoot I did a few days after Wekfest San Jose on Treasure Island.

It's a WALD grill made for the Accord wagon. It's pretty hard to come by but I purchased this from a member years ago. It's something you have to get specially shipped from over sea's but you need an actual Accord euro/type s bumper for it to fit properly. The grill had a major gap with my usdm bumper. I sourced the bumper from a local company.
Where did you get that side molding on your car? I've been looking for something like that in chrome to resemble a Lexus GS.

Went to a local junk yard and came out with several different door moldings from different cars. Paid around 20 bucks for everything. I wasn't quite sure which ones would fit and look right. Turned out that P.O.S. Pontiac Grand Prix moldings were the best fit and easiest to work with. Luckly I found a bunch of silver ones and the color matches exactly my car! No extra cost to color match at the body shop.
So if you want to use Grand Prix moldings you'd need 2 long moldings from 2 door coupe and 2 front moldings from 4 door sedan. The rear moldings are either too short or have weird ends. There are no left or right, they're all the same. Longer moldings from the (coupe) fit right in, while the shorter ones need to be trimmed to fit TSX's super narrow door at the bottom.
My favorite moldings are from 07-08 Ford Taurus SEL (Five Hundred). Too bad I couldn't find any of those on the junk yard and I'm not that crazy to pay close to $700.00 for them at the stealership, plus they need to painted.
Other car moldings that could work on TSX:
Kia Rondo
Nissan Rogue
PT Cruiser (nice front door moldings, rear ones would be difficult to trim).
Acura RL
Cadillac XTS (big coins).
If you're going for chrome look, Kia Rondo or Nissan Rogue moldings would require the least amount of work. If you're comfortable with dremmel tool, glue or plastic welder, double sided tape, you will have your new moldings in one afternoon.
There are some aftermarket moldings on eBay. To be honest they look very tacky and cheap to say the least and after one salty winter they probably will turn to sh!t.
* Whichever moldings you end up using, the rear ones need to be trimmed. So pick the easiest ones to work with (same thickness straight through will give you no headache)*.

Most importantly, relax and have fun. Modding your car should be a hobby you enjoy so take your time and work slowly...
the results are worth it!

Thank you so much for all your help and your advice. I really appreciate you going out of your way to type this all up. I found all your recommendations to be very helpful. I really like the subtleness of the Kia and the boldness of the Caddy but I might be leaning towards the RL just because it's OEM Acura and because of the combined half-painted-half-chrome look. I'm still undecided on which ones to choose but with how well yours was executed, you've definitely motivated me to through with this mod.
Thank you.

Wow that looks awesome.
Nice photos! I've always wanted a bridge photo like that.
