Do you have an 06MT or 06AT?
If you have an 06AT, then you're s.o.l. because Comptech doesn't have a kit (or rather, Hondata doesn't have a reflash) for the 06AT.
If you have an 06MT, then I would just wait until you've saved enough for a S/C (that's what I did). If you do Hondata, then eventually get a S/C, it'll basically be a waste. The only way to get your money back would be to swap with a stock ECU + cash, which I think is kind of a hassle .

i installed the shifter bushings today along with the bushings on the tranny case... [a lot smoother]
what other mods do you have ??

Yeah, I most certainly will take some vids. However, I'm currently debating whether I should change intakes and go with an AEM SRI (no CAIs/low-end tq loss for me) in order to make the S/C whine louder .
As far as addtional power between auto vs manual, I believe the following dynos were recorded (both had just intake/header combo in addition to the S/C):
04 Auto - 225whp/175wtq
04 Manual - 244whp/189wtq
With an 06 Manual + I/H/C/E, I'm hoping to hit close to 260whp/200wtq ....

I think he meant that there isn't a 06 5AT reflash for the supercharger......i thought Excelerate said there was going to be one but i haven't heard anything about it yet or have seen one advertised anywhere.

Got my car back yesterday and you are going to love it. Although I only did 245 whp 189 tq with Gruppe-m intake/DC Header/Comptech exhaust/RT Cat. The car seems crazy. You get up to 100 so quick you don't realize it. I will start another tread with pics and dyno since this is your thread.

Bad news, fellas...
Looks like Hondata screwed up with shipping out my ECU. Instead of overnighting it, they sent it via 3-day. That means I won't be getting my car back until next Tuesday at the earliest .
I'll keep you guys updated.

1) I just replaced the OEM battery with a Optima YT 51 (which IMO is a must when you add the S/C), so my ECU reset and has to "relearn" my driving habits (i.e. WOT as much as possible).
2) I haven't heard back from the dyno place yet.
That said, here are a few pics to tide you guys over :

Consequently, I'm guessing that when I install a Quaife LSD (which won't happen until next year), that'll increase torque steer for sure.
But man, what I wouldn't give for a functioning ETD! However, I'm pretty sure there isn't enough clearance for a Ingalls ETD in a S/Ced application, so any potential S/C owners out there should keep that in mind.
On a side note, I test drove a TL Type-S out of curiosity last night. It was an auto so it was kind of hard to compare, but I'd say that a fully modded S/Ced TSX could hold up well against a 2007 TL Type-S from a rolling start. We'd most likely lose, but I would guess it'd be by a car length or less .

I believe the meet is taking place this Sunday from 12-1PM in Edgewater, NJ. I'm going to try to make it, but I'm not definite.

Nice man! The ride looks great!!
Very clean engine bay. Mine is actually pretty dirty right now. With winter coming and all the driving I do, I'll probably just wait to clean it...haha
Saw some questions in the thread. This is really no break in period for the SC. You should be able to drive it hard right away. The only thing I would do is make sure your Air/Fuel Ratio is ideal before doing a ton of WOT runs. You want to make sure everything is properly installed and you wouldn't want it to go lean and find out the hard way if it isn't. Otherwise, just drive it normally for awhile to let the ECU relearn a little bit.
As for the Comptech ACM. It does 2 things:
1) Clamps the voltage for the MAP sensor going to the ECU so that the ECU never sees boost. If the ECU sees boost it would throw a Check engine light.
2) Adds fuel when the car is boosting and in open loop mode. Since the boost and MAP pressure is hidden from the ECU, it has no way to know how much fuel it needs to add under boost. Therefore the Comptech ACM takes care of adding the proper amount of fuel to achieve an ideal Air/Fuel ratio for the boosted setup. You defintely need that ACM installed and you want to make sure it is installed correctly. It has plug and play harnesses, so no wire splicing is required. Therefore, install of the ACM is not very difficult.
