Yes that's SF and the Bay Bridge in the background, shooting SW-ish from Treasure Island (halfway between SF and OAK). I've only been there once to look at a moto for sale. but we always drive through/over it (actually the connected Yerba Buena Island) when you cross the Bay Bridge. Great views of downtown SF from there-as you see!

I'm glad that you debadged. When I was in the German circle of forums (VW, Audi, etc.) debadging was a huge trend. It seems rare around this type of crowd.

This is the most strange color to photograph and see in actual person. In person, it's way too purple for my liking yet in photographs it can go either way. Interesting color for sure.

I haven't seen one in person yet, and I haven't seen a pic in which it looks purple, so I don't know. Maybe it's similar to CG where sometimes it changes color with the lighting (blue vs. grey).

The actual color of the car is listed as Charcoal Grey However, you're right...it can look blue or purple

Charcoal grey? Never heard of it as a US color. Carbon grey, yes.

I think they are the same color. I ordered a paint pen on ebay for a Carbon Gray Pearl and when it arrived it said "charcoal gray" on the pen. But the color looks like it's for a CG.

By the way... nice pics. Where's the car in the first pic? Is it in the water? or on the bridge up there?

That would make more sense, but Knox and I were talking about the RBP looking blue/purple, not the grey, so....

And how can the CG "actually be listed as" charcoal grey when everything from Acura says CG? Anyway, no big deal...it's just weird.
