Body kit, alot of fakes around, and some with like only Mugen front lip...and such..

but man, those Mugen intakes, I know 3 people locally who has it, actually four or more. Exhaust I know quite a few too, it's played out in my area, but if you really really REALLY think about it, aside from the BLING BLING factor, is the Mugen exhaust and intake really worth that 2 grand??

I was going to say that, but that's the point. You can't go wrong with Mugen, hence EVERYONE buys mugen, well at least the people who can afford it, or willing to buy it....

I mean, it gotten to a point that, no matter how ugly or useless mugen products are, and expensive, people still go sucker for them like babies with candy, they just want it!! I am not trying to start beef with Mugen, heck, I have Mugen too, but it gotten to the point that, when you have money and don't know what to buy....go Mugen. Thus, all these small-ass Japanese companies are afriad to even make or market their products internationally, because they could not compete with Mugen.

As for my new look, I don't know...if I am not getting a new car soon or if i don't wanna blow my money on stocks or other investments, I might go with my plan...

I'm not sure how some of you guys consider that Mugen is overplayed in the TSX community, unless you consider all the Mugen replica's out there or people who say they have Mugen parts and break out a single resovoir cover or oil cap But then if you consider Mugen overplayed, then Volk, Comptech, Cusco and Tein must be in the same category.

Is authentic Mugen overpriced? Definitely, but you get what you pay for in fit & finish, quality and exclusivity especially in their big ticket items. But the same goes for other companies like Spoon, J's Racing, Endless, etc. It's all about who's willing to drop the cash for an item they want.

I don't know about you guys who say that Mugen is overplayed, but I don't see many TSX's in my area rolling around looking like mine -

man your car is just pure sex!!!!!!!!!!!!! everytime i see your car i'm like "damn"!!

and yes i do agree with everyone else. authentic mugen parts are indeed expensive!!

as far as a lot of people having them, maybe on the mainland and else where... but here in hawaii i've only "heard" of someone owning a mugen kit. and even at that i'm not sure if it's a full kit or whatever. i've never seen it in person nor have i ever seen pics of it so i don't know if that's accurate.

Ben from A&J said that they should get it in by the end of the month and i should receive it a week after that. so hopefully sometime early next month i'll have the bumper!!

They are sucking on the blood of tourist industries. Either your very poor and live in the housing projects or your very well stable because I had a sh!tty apt with no AC and carpet, with 1 parking stall for over $1K a month.

The thing I dont miss are the door dings. Parking stalls are made to fit the car only so you have to exit from the trunk

Those are some very nice parts. Congrats man

That stuff is defintely not played out. Who cares if people think it's played out anyway. I mean this is a car forum, many of these people will never see your car in person and we are only a small percentage of all of the TSXs out there. It's all about rolling your Mugen TSX around your area. Enjoy your ride man

well i'm sorry you feel that way. where were you renting that had such terrible conditions? sad but true, hawaii isn't total paradise. as far as door dings go, hawaii's parking stalls are not exactly the biggest stalls. that's why i always park not far, but farther away from the norm

I said that more than a year ago. I understand Volks = bling baller and very good rims, I've seen a few and see how light and strong they are constructed. But yes, Volks are overplayed, almost everyone has Volks. Even civics are coming up with the dough for Volks.

When I say Mugen is overplayed, I don't mean JUST in the TSX community, because honestly, how many of the members here actually mod their car right?? But for the majority part of people, they all mostly own some Mugen parts. If you go to a car show, you will understand why Mugen and Volks is overplayed.
