Just the Mugen front?

Did anyone with a Mugen front happen to take pics as they were installing? Or, if anyone is planning on getting the Mugen kit, please take some photos of the install progress so we can see just the front bumper by itself =) Curious what the car looks like with just the front bumper. Not really a fan of any kind of rear skirts, but the side skirts look a little funny without adding the rear or something...

your car will look funny with only the front bumper, since the fromt bumper is lower than the rest of your car. It will loook ok with the OEM side and rear.....

Hey Accsuperstar, yes I did. Funny, I was just in Austin this past weekend for my brother's birthday =)

Yeah, I was thinking about having maybe the OEM side skirt. Just not settled on the rear yet. I like the smooth 04 rear.

I think it will look strange since everything is lower except the back. It will look like its sloping upwards from the side view.

mixing and matching bodykits from different manufacturers would usually yield undesirable results ... some call it "rice" =)

that being said, there are exceptions... one of my favorite rear skirts for the TSX is the Kenstyle one... especially with aftermarket exhausts

It's not "rice" to mix and match body kits. As long as the car flows as a whole, no one will really care.

like i have mentioned above, there are exceptions always =)
I dont know if you guys remembered back in the days when kids will have a civic, integra, or eclipse.. with a blitz style front bumper (from the blitz supra), combat side skirts (with those fake vents to cool the rear brakes), and a veilside wing
thats rice to me =)

on the tsx... what i meant is that.. the mugen kit is a very sporty kit... and if u put the whole kit on the car, it actually looks nice.. however, if you put the mugen front, for example, and mate it to kenstyle side skirts and rear apron (the kenstyle is meant to be classy and elegant), i dont think that combination would work

that was entirely my personal opinion... sorry if i have offended anyone

I dunno, I like the Mugen front, but the side skirts are a little weird. They look like they've been kicked in, in the middle. And I'm just not a fan of any rear skirts. Too bad there's not a whole rear bumper replacement... But for some reason the full set really makes the TSX look great.
