Just got back from Heeltoe...

well not literally just got back, but you guys could care less.

Today I went and got my Fujitsubo exhaust installed along with a P2R throttle body spacer. Install and everything went fine. The exhaust look and sound amazing. They have pretty much no drone on the freeway, and shine when vtech kicks in. The car pulls harder now. Between 2,000 and 4,500 rpms is the sweet sound for these exhaust. With the spacer and exhaust, my car shifts smoother and accelerates smoother. Enough boring you guys with info, here are the pictures...

This is how I had to drive to my apartment...

Luckly I didnt have to drive home like that, that would have been a loooooong drive.
And who would I be if I didnt post a video for everyone SO here is a video, the exhaust is deeper in person though...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDUlNN_XpKs

I got to give props to Marcus at Heeltoe for getting me these parts and doing the install, all for amazing prices. I HIGHLY recommend that if you guys ever need parts, go through Heeltoe, Marcus can get anything.

The funny parts about this install is that not even half of what I ordered is in yet. SO I have to go back next weekend or so for the other parts. The question now is, what else did I order ...

I think yours may be the japanese version. Marcus was telling me that before Tein took over Fujitsubo, they were selling the japanese version out here. So I literally have the first American type Fujitsubo Exhaust

The exhaust is a tad quiet, but like you said, a high flow cat would take care of it. And MArcus may have something in the works for me possibly

Looks good, the sound is deep too.

I wonder what's your "other" parts... something JDM?

The sound is a lot deeper in person. I was surprised when Marcus first started my car. I love it.

As far as my next parts... you will have to wait and see...

got to love teasers!!

Ya, this morning was fun, and interesting. I was glad I made it home with the exhaust too, it was awkward seeing a big pipe next to my face everytime I look to change lanes on the freeway.

I just felt like making it a teaser because I have had to wait this long, so others should to. Its all for fun, no pun intended.

Thanks for the compliments. I have noticed you and I are getting a lot of the same parts, so I am sure the exhaust you end up getting will be a nice one

yeah, it'll be nice.
nobody I know of has ever put the exhaust I'm buying on a TSX yet.
I try to be original and such, but it's hard with this car.
I'll have a few parts nobody else has, but basically because I'm crazy,
that's all. lol.

I hear you on the waiting thing, I've been waiting forever for stuff.
I have a fair sized order in with Heeltoe too, he's slowly getting stuff in,
but of course it's never fast enough for us.

I paid an additional $90something dollars to air ship my strut bar just
because I was already sick of waiting for it, and it still hadn't even been
shipped out yet.

sometimes I just want to fly to Japan, pick up the stuff myself, and fly
it back with me, lol. I would be much happier then.

does Marcus have a storefront for his business?
he should update his site and put pics of your car up there under
the Fugitsubo USDM fitment item.

I can see that you like to be original, and this is awesome by me. And waiting sucks, but Marcus tends to get things pretty fast compared to some other companies.

I always put large order through Heeltoe instead of buying little things here and there because by the time ALL of the parts arrive, months will have past and you will have forgotten you ordered the parts(thats been happening to me lately because of school, I actually forgot about the parts I ordered from Marcus until Nick reminded me about the meet)

Marcus doesnt have a "'storefront" for his business (is you mean an actual place rented out just for his business) but I am pretty sure he will update his site with the pictures of my car under the USDM fitment since I am the first to actually have them in America (well the first from Fujitsubo since Tein took them over)

Im sure me and your car MMs will be on there for a lot of the different high end parts on his website shortly

If I ever went to Japan, I doubt I would come back, The cars there are so much nicer, and you could buy all your parts there. But sometimes waiting for your parts makes it worth while when you actually get them, you enjoy the part more.

well you are lucky to have Marcus so close for installs.
I don't really have anybody trustworthy that I know of, still looking for the
right mechanic or shop or whatever myself.
that makes it much harder.

and ordering the nice parts I do, I want perfection for installs, but I live in a town with
no modded cars, lol. I'm screwed.

we're gonna run out of mods sooner or later.
what do we do then?

Finding a mechanic you can trust is extremely hard to do. like you said, I am lucky I have Marcus out here where I live. Perfection is the very least you should expect from installs for the price you pay for parts. No modded cars means no competition, you will be free to roam superior

If we ever runs out of mods, it means we just need to start going custom I dont think we will run out anytime though.

I don't know... my list of stuff to get is growing mighty short, lol.

I can't for the life of me pick a header though.

I like the Mugen because it comes with a cat and is, well Mugen.
But there are no flex pipes on it and it's for a K20, so our subframe needs to be
modified for it to fit right.

I like the Maxim/FEEL's header, but it seems to not come with a cat.
I do not want any CEL or anything showing up either.
I don't care about CARB or whatever, there is no state inspection here in my state.

you have any thoughts? you looked into headers at all yet?

you're talking to an addict here, lol.
this car will have more mods than the car is worth, lol.

just looks like a cheaper version of the Mugen one to me.

what do you see in it that would make it superior?

J's is still a good brand. Mugen is just more expensive because of the name.

I was looking at the J's header as well. The guy on the cover of Honda Tuning this month (white one) lives in my area and He has the whole J's setup. It sounded really clean, and he said he has had no problems with the headers at all.

Like Nick said, Mugen is more expensive because of the name. It is a high end brand none the less, but J's is a really high end brand as well.

wow the exhaust looks great. it really sets off the back end. it looks pretty similar to the comptech one, except the tips are a little thinner. the etching on the tips looks pretty sick

Yup, mine had branding on the bottom as well.

I think the difference between mine and yours is that you probably have the JDM fitment and I have the USDM fitment. Marcus was telling me that I have the first USDM fitment one that is distributed by Tein. So I think that is the difference between mien and yours.

BTW, mine hangs a little lower on the right side just like yours

I love the way my exhaust looks. It has a somewhat stock look, but in a nice stainless steel version. The back end of my car is a lot nicer to look at now, since the stcok tips are finally gone It does look a little similar to the Comptech one. The etching is amazing. It doesnt look like that cheap etching on some other exhaust I have seen.

That would really make sense.
Wow does yours hang lower i thought it was just the used hanger?

or my pipe melted really bad and it became deformed.

Try getting new rubber hangers, i think its just based on the design.

Ya, mine does hang a little lower on the right. I think it is designed that way for some awkward reason. i dont like it, so I am going to try and get something fabricated to make it even.

I had my pipes heated a bit and bented the hangers and it worked out. Still the rubber hangers wear too much.
