on to this years pictures. The worst part about these is the fact that we have NO SNOW! Plenty of salt though I'd get it washed but I park outside and the high today was 9 degrees low tonight -10 with a high of 4 tomorrow.
blurry(I was outside and it was around 5 degrees so sue me :P) but it shows the salt collecting in the crack
Here's what driving down the wet highway gets you when theres salt on the road. Liquid salt. The headlights look like that because I "cleaned" them off with the window cleaner at the gas station.
As you can see the car is crying
anyone ever wonder why the Honda rust spot exists?
front end. headlights (eyes?) still wet from crying.
hood shot
and a close up of that nasty salt...kind dark but you get the point.
yeah I'm a minor picture whore so what. :P

It's even snowing here in El Paso. I've never seen it snow here in 6 yrs of being here. You won't catch me dead in this town driving my TSX in the snow. That's what the RSX-S is for. People can use that car for target practice. I'll try tomorrow and catch a pic when the old lady gets home from work. It's too dark out now.

This was New Year's day in Ohio, thank heavens for nice weather for once...finally got to wash the car for the first time by hand in the driveway today. Then I went and got a picture at my favorite parking lot.
The salty picture above...makes me want to cry.

Ha ha, actually all that salt was from one day of driving from Cleveland to Charlotte on the 19th. Usually silver hides dirt pretty well, but I had to wash it when it got that bad! : ) I was totally amazed when I got out and saw how dirty it was. I'm sure I got several little chips in the paint from the salt flying out of salt trucks too.
It was pretty cold when I got back so I just took it through a touchless car wash... two times through and there was still salt on it.
Haven't really been modding my car or had too many things to chime in on so I haven't had anything to post about till now. I saw this thread and had that pic so I figured I'd post. Love the board tho...

I made it three feet and couldn't do the back-forth very well is the lot is slightly declined and I was trying to back up a small hill. Went and got some cat litter and was finally able to back up a foot. Then made a path for the wheels to pull out through. Then pulled into a plowed spot so I didn't have to stand in the snow to uncover it.
My solara still looks like that... I need to dig her out and take her out for a drive...

From: Windsor-Quebec corridor
I'm back from a business trip in a northern region of Quebec.
Driving up there was a BITCH! it was doing -12C and it was raining! I've never had such a hard time keeping the windshield un-iced.
After 5 hours of such weather, the car was rather icy:
And since I was out there to work, I didn't wash the car, so at the end of the week it looked like this:
Now, I need to get it cleaned before I leave for Fla...

Alrite guys... well to keep the southern part of the US involved in this i will contribute to the thread. Since i personaly know the pain you guys are feeling with dirty cars in the snow. I recently moved from NJ, from where I have lived my whole life. So now for my first winter in Florida i would like to show you the "pain" i am feeling from my dirty car. These pictures were taken just now. She finally got dirty on my 15 min drive to school in bright sunlight about 80 degrees. It had just rained... the first time since xmas, and the ground was wet, thus splashing water onto her. I can truly feel your pain and now i will show you what you guys are missing in "sunny florida"
I would like to start out by pointing out finger prints from careless passengers. See in the blue circle the finger prints that probably belong to my lady friend.
Next we have some infamous "Floridian Road Kill" Here you can see a random assortment of bugs that have collected on my bumper from this trip. Though thankfully this is winter and this is as filled up the bug collecter gets.
Here we have some "Road Splatter" As you can see there must have been some sort of minerals or something in that water as that there is now a resdiue. Lets take a closer look at that shall we.
Mmmmmmm Florida dirt. Gotta love it
Moving to the rear, we see more splash marks. Such a pain i think shes going to get washed again this weekend. Hopefully it wont get too cold, last weekend it was a brisk 80 degrees
Finally my favorite picture. The dirty exhaust pipes... See people it really hurts to drive around with dirty exhaust pipes.
Alrite well if u read down this far, i would like to thank you for taking your time to "relive" the horrible dirty car syndrome.
Hehe, now lets see how many people get irrate
