It's dirty, but it's dropped.

It's been wet and rainy here lately, so I'll have a much better shoot once I get time to really clean her up. But, here she sits, after having Josh aka Excelerate put in Tein SS's yesterday! I'm so glad I did this... the A-Spec drop just didn't do it for me. I'm at around one finger gap all around and it's perfect for the roads around here. Definitely livable, and to me, looks perfect.

Within one hour of dropping the car, two total strangers came up to me to ask about it. One was an older guy in a tight red modded E46 M3 at the gas station who said my car "is just so clean".

I forgot to apologize for the cameraphone pictures, too!

As for a lip kit, that's probably in the future, although I'm really happy with the look of the car right now and am not sure I'd want to take the drivability hit at this ride height that a front lip would cause to ground clearance... I'll have to give it some more thought.

And for the money, I have a couple other mods I'm pondering doing first...

looks much better! i really think that is the height the TSX should've came stock.

I do agree that a lip kit and some fogs would really make your car look complete. are you thinking of doing hondata first?

I definitely would not drive with the car that low. It looks like any bump will cause your car to bottom out.

The car isn't THAT low. Some people have theirs slammed where it looks like any PEBBLE would cause the bottom to scrape. The Tein SS's do lower it significantly but nothing earth-shattering.

BTW audiosurf, your car is beautiful. You are actually a replica of what I want. I have a CGP as well, and I'm planning on getting those same wheels and the Tein SS's. Not to sound unoriginal, lol, but your car is NICE!!!!

The car's really not that low for daily driving purposes so far. I made it in to my underground parking garage here at work this morning without trouble - I went slow and took the inclines at a sharp angle. I don't think I even came close to scraping. I theoretically could go lower but I don't see a need to as I view the one-finger gap as aesthetically perfect for a sports sedan. The back of my car is ever so slightly higher than the front (front is a tight finger gap, rear is a little looser) for a raked look which I'm digging.

Thanks for the kind words everybody! I'm loving it... I feel like I should have skipped A-Spec altogether a year ago and went coilovers from jump. I know what everyone means in suspension threads now when they tell you that A-Spec may disappoint.

Thank you very much man. But I'll give credit where it's due - Tsx536 is responsible for me seeing the combination of Advan Kreuzer's and CGP and losing my mind. As soon as I saw that together I knew I had to have it.

Props to Kenny!

I don't know if you got some superman eyes, but it's very hard to see how low that front bumper is. According to what it looks like, it seems very low to the floor.

Lookin good man! I think it's a perfect drop

I wouldn't go any lower either. I know it may look better in pictures dumped to the ground, but your the one that has to drive it everyday so as long as you're happy with it that's all that matters.

Can't wait to see some new pics with a regular camera. Nice choice in wheels BTW

Yeah it definitely could be a little lower and still be drivable. But I like it where it's at. Plus if I put on a lip kit (which I'm leaning towards doing) I definitely like the ride height where it's at now.

It's funny Colts, I asked you a while back about what you went through to get rid of the OEM spoiler, because I really didn't like it... now that my car's dropped I actually think the spoiler works really well with the car. I'm in no rush to trunk-swap it off anymore.

Haha, you know it's not like that man. I first saw the Kreuzer + CGP on Kenny's car and fell in love then, but riding in yours sold me on the SS over any other suspension setup.

And let the record state that Dayta's car is both gorgeous and crazy fast...

Maybe they'll let us pull up on to the patio between North and South buildings at 600... haha, not likely. Maybe the GCM of old, but not today!

We'll definitely do something like that, though... let's start thinking about locations.

No you just apparently don't know how to drive. I drove my car slammed on 19s with 35 series tires stretched through downtown NY on the way to HIN NY at Belmont Park and managed to not harm my car once. Oh and this was during Friday rush our traffic as well. Yes it requires a lot more attention to the road surface but it can be done and once you are used to it is not hard at all.
