I come back to my car after work and find a big truck pulled up alongside me on my left side, leaving me all of 5 inches to get into my car. What the heck, right? My friend then had this great idea, just release the parking brake (6MT was left in neutral) and let the car roll down the slight incline so I can get in. It was a scary moment though when I realized I had to run behind the car to stop it from rolling into the opposing wall =P

6MT owns!
If I were your friend, I would have had you gotten mowed down by your own car in the process of doing this.

I keep a screwdriver in my car at all times. The rear quarter panel is a good place, 2nd only to the roof.

I don't see anything wrong with that person parking close to you. I mean...that person has a right to park the way he/she did. You see the white line separating the spaces. That person didn't cross into yours so i think you should be to blame if this gets to you. You could've moved forward little bit, you know what i mean. I could understand ppl parking so close beside you and leaving you a ding or two. I think you were overreacting just a little.

i don't know if that was sarcasm or not, but that "white space" is the reflection of the flash off the trunk of his car. look a little closer. once again, a victim of entitlement.

Close parking is a fact of city life. If you don't like parallel parking, find a parking garage. No need to key (unless they leave marks)
