i went to the show... it sucked. biggest waste of $25.

it was freaking dark (which made picture taking nearly useless) and looked extremely un-organized.

the girls were 'meh' at best, and none of the cars really stood out.

i am definitely NOT going next year.

was this your first hot import nights show then cause a lot of them they have the lights low. I mean they are not normally completely dark but they are not that lit up either. The girls normally dont suck. come up north for one as I have yet to be dissapointed in one of the ones up here.

and about it being dark...i figured it not the South Florida Auto Show...why would they want to present their show in the same way...the low lighting also creates a certain atmosphere (i guess its to emulate the whole street racing and import scene that goes on mainly at night?) which it crtainly did with the strobes and blaring music and smoke machines all calling for you attention...i wouldnt call it unorganized maybe its the low light that made it seem that way but if it is because the cars weren't organized by make and model then thats not a good justification...it was separated into car clubs (which is how most people enter instead of individually) and corporate show cars and individuals filing in the gaps...

Do you have a pic of your car since there was nothing that stood out ?

relax there chief... i can form my own opinion. my opinion is, that nothing really stood out to me. sure there were a lot of nice cars... but nothing out of the ordinary. and if it was out of the ordinary, it wasnt in a good way.

the last HIN i went too was 2yrs ago so i figured i would go to this one and see if its gotten any better. i was disappointed to say the least. if it wasnt so dark in there, i probably would of enjoyed it more and spent a little more time there. but i guess thats the nature of the show, so what can you do? i guess i'll just stick to the regular shows from now on.

p.s. here is an old pic of my car... its slightly different now.

already done. car will be there as i am pulling a crazy trip that weekend. I am going down friday to take my car to the show. drop car off friday night. go back to my parents place stay the night. sleep in real late. head over to venue clean off car and have it judged. go back home and sleep some more. go back in time for awards. hopefully pick up a trophy. leave venue around 1:30am and start drive back to PA. Arrive in PA head to hershey. Arrive in Hershey at 8:30 exactly in time for registration for Tuner Wars another NCCA show in PA.

Call me crazy yes. But definitly funny if I win and have the trophy in front of me thats show I was in NC just 7 to 8 hours earlier.

Bring it on. (Please take note I am in College vs. Ben full time working job) hence the increased income. Hopefully my headstart on the project prevails till then. Hopefully I can pull off some big christmas moves. Also maybe got a rare part or two myself.

no excuses, us working people also have to support ourselves. its not like 100% of our income is poured into our cars

It will be close but being as they judge the car as a whole he is missing several components. luckly atleast he has a lot more aftermarket parts and less oem than me. Cause I compete in the JDM OEM Catagory and he may be bumped into JDM Aftermarket. Lito you would definitly be in aftermarket. You guys need to add some I.C.E. and audio too.
