i do notice there are some exterior and interior differences compare to Acura Spec, but i still love this car so much!!! until now it has done about 800km and is about due for its first service...
do u guys think its appropriate to pour full syn? or its preferred to stay with mineral based until 10,000km?
suggestions welcome

Hi there! I feel that the Aus spec 06 models look more similar to the TSX. The previous 03-05 models had a different grill. But the TSX interior and dash is nicer.

As to the Syn v. Dino oil question. Do a search and you'll find more than enough info to go over. The short answer is to follow the book guidelines and stick with the break-in oil until the first service period. You have to seat the engine in correctly. Of current topic lately is, if you can believe this, whether or not to spend $0.20 (US) on a new OEM crush washer or not when changing your own oil. See the results under "leaks" for a real head shaker. As they say over the pond from here, "penny wise, pound foolish."
Congrats on the new ride, enjoy it!!!!
P.S. BTW what's the cost of gas currently?

Here we go again………this is NOT a Japanese Accord Euro R (CL7). It is a CL9 which in the Australian/New Zealand Market is badged as an Accord Euro. In Japan this same model (CL9) is badged as an Accord. In Europe it is also badged as an Accord Type-S (K24A3 engine).

Most of us don't know that Accord/CL9 is "badged" differently downunder and I don't think any of us care at all
I think bysin thought your fellow ozzie meant Euro R.
