Nah I'm sure everything is fine. I'm in no rush to put plates on anyways... I like being shady like that

Not sure about custom plates, though... pretty sure that takes a bit of time to make.

I realize this was posted a month ago, but your tires on the left side definitely look low on air. and I don't think its the lighting either. If you haven't checked since the start of the thread, you may need to go fill em up ASAP.
but it looks good!!

In WA, if you buy a car from a dealer (used or new), then the dealer provides the plates (providing that you paid for the registration and license during the purchase). If you purchase from a private party, then you need to go to the DMV.
Btw, I was able to ask the dealers to provide plates that meet certain preference, like must have certain number but exclude certain numbers.

We get our plates from the Department of Motor Vehicles. I guess up there you can't get plates without insiurance....makes sense. We would have about 1/2 as many cars on the road down here if that were the case. I like the idea. It might make my commute a little less painless

Most car dealerships have resident insurance agents (or floating ones when in some kind of an "auto mall"). So by getting a plate from the insurance agents when picking up a car from the dealership, it doesn't mean going to separate geogrphical locations. While trading in cars, one usually re-use the plate from the trade-in anyway, the insurance agents on-site just do the insurance paperwork

***Update***
I called the dealership about my license plate. The stupid chick screwed up and didn't send it in until June 10. So I should be getting it soon hopefully.
