Hello world!
Been reading these forums for quite some time and I finally joined. I have had my 06 ABP 5AT non-navi for a year now, got a great deal on it brand new ($25,400 @ 3.9% financing). It was the last 06 left on the lot. Loving it every time I drive it. Considering a lot of mods as time goes on, but I've only put 8000 miles on my baby since I got it in April 07. Here are some pics of my beauty:
First I am thinking of some appearance changes: a 30-35% tint, lip spoiler, and black-out or mugen grill. I think the grill shape of the TSX is fantastic, but its too shiny and flashy. Then some handling related items starting with RSB and the A-spec suspension. Any thoughts?

Congrats on the purchase and hope you do well in all your modding experiences, but just for future reference, you have the first generation TSX, not the second...so this thread is probably gonna get the down. Any threads about your car need to be in the First Generation TSX Forum (or sub-forum, whatever it is) Hopefully no one will really rag on you though since you're new.

i definitely should've waited for the 06, it was the TSX's year in regards to performance modifications. for appearance, go with what you said minus the black out grill, just skip that and get the mugen. for the suspension, RSB would be nice.

Yea, definitely go with the mugen grill and M3 lip from someone like 'xenonspecialist' on ebay.
As far as performance, I know the Tein coilovers are great, and if you want something that's a cheap a quick mod for handling, get a rear sway bar. Don't have one yet but I've heard for the price (~$120-$180 from what I remember), they work wonders.

Mugen grill for sure! and sway bars are a must. For coilovers though I'd go kSport, but I just personally have issues with Tein.
Oh kSport is evening going to be coming out with a digital adjustment system like teins EDFC, hopefully it doesn't light up orange though...

Hey, I'm an ABP driver too. I also have around 8k miles on it and I'm already about halfway through my mods.
You should definitely get all the "cheap and easy" mods done first like an intake, tint and RSB. They are the easiest to get and biggest bang for the bucks.

Congrats on getting yourself a great car. I would personally go for the Euro R Grille over the Mugen everytime. The overall fit is better IMO. I don't like looking into the Mugen grille with the cut out on the rhs. It always looks dodgy to me.
I also think again just MO that unless you go more extreme with the rest of your kit that the Euro R grille blends better with the overall look of the car.
Cheers and go for what you want!

Alright, just ordered my M3 lip spoiler from Xenonspecialist.. will report back how it goes when it arrives and I get it installed. What kind of HP gains do you guys typically see from those? :-P
