hello world

Ive been prawling for a while even weeks before I made my tsx purchase a month ago.
I decided id finally introduce my myself
Probably best deal I could find
shes a 05 manual CGP with 43k
and she only cost me 15,500 from a private seller.
It was well taken care of by an old lawyer who just brought a prius.
This was probably 3 days after purchase
I put in my LED underdash lights (ambiance lights as i've learned) and my Hoen license plate light too.
I have tien H techs and a comptech icebox in the mail and I'm excited
Not bad for a first car for a 17 year old eh? (i know i lied on my age thing, i saw the forums flaming us teens)
So without further ado, here she is

You've got a really nice car for your age. Congratulations. Take good care of it and respect it, as I'm sure you will. Be careful. Nobody's ever as good a driver as they think they are - especially when younger.

hahaha yupp
my dad uttered two words while he test drove this car (i couldnt even drive manual 2 months ago)
"two fast"

he did something about it,
my car is GPSed, he can get every single speed im traveling at and where i go when i go.
this doesnt bother me because itll keep me an honest and good driver
it will be taken off when im 18

DAng...that's crazy. That's a good way to look at it though. I knew I wasn't a good driver at that age. I'm sure I would have been if I knew my dad could see how fast I was going.

Anyway, enjoy your new car

Congrats on the new car and welcome to the forum! Don't worry about your age too much. I'm seventeen as well (soon to be 18 in April). As long as you don't act like 90% of the immature adolescents where I go to school, you will be treated no differently than someone older. Or at least those are my experiences. Be proud of your age!

Again, congrats...and welcome!

amen.
i hear you.
when i was learning how to drive (automatic)
my teacher had said that i wasnt alert enough. It just wasnt involved and i found my mind drifting.
Manual especially if ur doing some decent suburan driving will keep you safe and on your toes.
besides i cant be stupid my dad will get an email and my car keys will end up locked in the glove box of his TL-S
