I almost bought a 2nd gen MR2 when I got the first car of my own... went with a 4Runner instead. Glad I did because I moved to northern Indiana where there was a lot more snow than plows (unlike NY, where people always use the winters as an excuse to buy huge SUVs... let me tell you, they have salt trucks out before the first flake hits the ground. I always admitted I got an SUV because it was cool at the time ).

Edit, forgot, cool car. Still like every Mister Two ever made, been kicking around getting an MR Spyder when I get a roadster (either that, a used S2000, the new MX-5 or a Pontiac Solsitice. Right now the Solstice has my heart).

Nice ride. I still like that (2nd?) gen MR2 the best. Not to mention the turbo model had some balls as opposed to the new MR-S/2. My buddy has a MR-S/2 with Tein springs and Cusco bracing... very nimble and fun to drive in the Canyons, almost literally like a gokart, but lacks in the power department. Not to mention his air flow sensor went/goes bad after he installed an AEM CAI...

yeah, thanks joe. i gave some random lady who drives a mr2 that found me at work your card, so hopefully she calls you. yeah, i have tein s-techs, tokico illuminas, and a front strut tower bar as well as brake upgrades, and it does handle almost like a go kart. im non-turbo right now though, at least until summer. are any of you guys going to be at streets of willow on may 21st?

It's like a Miata... a car doesn't have to be fast to be fun.

Glad to be able to help Rich. I'm glad you're happy with your tires. I can't wait to see how good your car is going to look with the Volks!
