my best 1/4 mile was 15.1 @ 94.5 mph on 19's and toyo proxes4 - so def hoping to get traction this time and slip into the 14's

Maybe your tires would last longer if you didn't go ultra high performance, no tread life type
thanks i'll keep that in mind if i ever sell them

actually - the tires on my 19's were toyo proxes4. i've had the car aligned three times - and everytime, the alignment goes out of spec and my tires end up eating like a fat man at a buffet.

i took my car to a different shop - they zeroed out the toe and i have -1 degree of camber all the way around.

well actually, the front left is -1.25 - but my buddy says i should be ok.

we'll see i guess.

thanks. the wheels kinda look like a light gunmetal in person, in pics they come out super silver lol.

i have the volk center caps from my old wheels, but they're all cracked. i kinda like the no cap look. makes my car looks like it means business

I don't have centre caps either, and don't really plan to get them either - just don't do anything for me.

btw dzuy, it looks like you painted the inside of the rotors silver? It makes having no caps look much nicer. Defintiely nicer than mine which is all just rust haha

The car looks great with either the 19's or the 18's. I was looking into 18's myself since the 19's are making the car feel sluggish.

you def should keep the 19's if you can afford it. you have a more aggresive body kit than me - 19's look great.

my 19 inch volks didn't make the car feel that slow - but i can def tell that the 18's feel lighter.

acceleration is nicer now

Well dzuy i'm glad we got those pictures in before you sold them gold 19s.

How did you like the proxes 4s? I'm running these tires right now and they feel kinda strange going around turns.

they are good for non performance

meaning, they're great for wet traction - and they last a long time - but grip blows.

i got those tires for cheap - so i cant complain.

the mx's are noticeable grippier - but they come with more tire noise too.

haha thats the conclusion that i came to after testing them out...theyre just not very good performance wise.

I'll come to Orlando and check out your townhouse next time i'm down there. Does it have a garage?!

I'm pretty much done spending money on the car...just maintenance and repair mods...(worn out dunlops and bad catalytic converters).
