Finally some pics 06 ASM/Ebony
I have had my baby for almost two months now and I am finally posting some pics. I know it's not as interesting as some others but I have done a few things:
Clear bra
Tint 35% and 15% on the back
Blue led light conversion
M3 style spoiler (just installed today)
debadged (much prefer this look)
Many coats of Zaino
I hope some day to get some 18 inch wheels after I wear out the OEM tires.

Well, I guess its time to fess up - being a 40-something-year-old housewife I guess puts me in a demographic group not exactly in the majority on these boards.
When it comes to cars though, and well I guess everything else in life I still feel like I'm 25! I'm drooling over everyone's pics of their fabulous wheels (maybe someday) and dreaming of reflashes and body kits and the list goes on. Boy these cars are fun!

I also did the felt thing around the windows and so far no scratches

I'm envious...
I ended up getting Madico Charcool 35% on the sides and 20% on the rear for $239.
It's a dye film... lifetime guarantee against fade, but ceramic is better at heat rejection.
Can I ask how much it costed for the tint?

It was $305 for the tint, then they nailed me for an additional $75 to put the felt on the windows. I have to admit I didn't really shop around for this since this place is local, did our last two cars and has always stood behind their work. My husband's car got a little scratch thing on the window and they fixed it for free. I guess the Formula 1 has a lifetime guarantee. I know others have been paying less but I think the ceramic is rather expensive. Anyway it's done now :surrender

Beautiful TSX. I actually like the look of the '06 rims on yours, for some reason.
You were very smart to get the clear bra installed. Few people realize how it can save the front end of the car.
Best of Luck with it!

One of the reasons I picked the ASM color was that it seemed to me to be the only color that the stock wheels actually looked good on.
The car originally had chrome wheels but I thought the combination with ASM looked ghastly so I asked for them to be switched out when I took delivery. Saved a little money too.
I've been drooling over everyone's wheel pics (especially the 18's) and initially wanted to get new wheels but the stock rims seem to appeal to me more and more everyday and I will probably keep them on.
Seems like there's so many other things to spend money on - like $75 FELT!!
I did cringe when they mentioned the price for the felt but they did do all four windows so perhaps it was a labor intensive thing?

I've read that putting the moleskin on involves removing the entire door panel.
However, my tint guy says he only has to remove the window gasket/seal and apply it on the gasket itself, which has to come off anyway during tint.
He didn't have any moleskin in his shop, but he offered to put it on for free if I supplied my own moleskin (which I just bought for $3), so I can't imagine it being too involved. He said it would only take 15-20 minutes.
Since I knew I was going to return with the moleskin, he just left the gaskets off to make it easier for him.

I would think as long as it's not attached to the car yet, there should be no problem at all.
I wouldn't worry about the dealer getting pissed though. Heck, they're getting almost 30 grand out of you. They don't have to like you.

Eh, I don't think they'll enjoy the fact that you placed an order for a car to be shipped from Japan, and then, you not wanting it because of a spoiler. But then again, if they have one on the lot that you'd rather buy, I'm pretty sure they'll be more than happy to switch them for you. I was planning to buy a ABP TSX, and they had it shipped and arrived the next day because it was already on it's way here. I changed my mind the next day to a CGP because it was with the same shipment, and had a few more features. They gladly swapped the cars. Go for it! I don't like the OEM spoiler either =D

PWP is a gorgeous color! Looks even better with some new rims. Check out the wheel gallery for some great examples. I don't think the stock wheels do the PWP color justice.

Madico's website claims its made specifically for cars with NAV, sat radio, radar detectors, etc. No mention of being metallic or non-metallic, but I assumed it was dye.
How do you check the satellite signal strength?
