Finally got around to taking a pic of the fitment (attn JTso)

I was too lazy to ever take any pix of the wheel fitment on my gf's tsx. Some ppl said it wouldnt work, but it worked perfectly fine I took a picture of fender and wheel with a straight ruler like JTso asked me a while back. Anyhow, yes the car is FILTHY, cause its been raining the last few days here. Anyhow, the S-Techs go on tomorrow hopefully. here are pix of her car and my truck at my lot

yes the car will be lowered tomorrrow!!

and here is one of my truck just to whore it a little i just had it lowered not long ago aswell.

PS. here are the specs again..

19x8 Work VS-KF 3-peice
+51 offset
245/35R19 tires

no rubbing, ever. hard turns, soft turns, 4 ppl in the car.. nothing. we'll see how this holds up tomorrow.. although im very confident it will be fine.

plus.. ill toss in this pic of my new english bulldog pup

why wouldn't it work? those specs for the wheels are within what is generally regarded as accetable... 19x8 is fine... +51 offset is close to stock offset. so where's the issue and debate?

the debate was mainly in the tire size, and everyone thinking they wouldnt fit. here is the previous thread. http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26674 this thread aswell http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26648

There really wasn't much debate in either of those threads......

I'll start one here though.

Those tires are 25.75" in diameter, which is larger than the stock diameter of 25.46". Most people who are lowered are running 225/40/18 or 235/35/19, which are the same or smaller than stock. There was one guy who ran 225/45/18, which is pretty close to what you're running and he had major rubbing issues after lowering (and he was not slammed-ProKit with Koni's, and he raised the Koni's to the top perch to raise it).

My feeling is that you will experience some rubbing once you lower it, but if you don't, that's great-I really hope it works for you. The 51 offset will only help-that's perfect for the TSX.......

Even if it does rub, I doubt this guy would admit to it now...

I don't think anyone questioned whether the wheels would fit in the fender, its the odd-sized tires that could be a problem. a 51 offset for aftermarket wheels is usually unheard of (and found most often on Work wheels). There is so much wheel clearance stock, I don't think anyone could ever make it rub.

With the springs, its a toss up, good luck

That's exactly what I was going to say.

You've got a nice little gap to prevent any rubbing right now, but once you lower it, I'm sure you're going to rub once in awhile. May not be on small bumps or potholes, but the bigger ones. Looks good though.

thing is, not all tires are made the same. One brand of tire may be a bit bigger than actual size, when another may be a bit smaller. Ive learned this going through millions of wheels and tires on my past cars. The front will get a little neg. camber once lowered, and should help it not rub a bit. But on top of everything else, my gf's drives the car, she doesnt push it hard, never carrys alot of weight, and is VERY careful with potholes and such. Im going to take the car now to get the springs installed. wish me luck
